She sang in English, she had o sing in italian, and like her so did Gualazzi and Francesca.

@@noahbowie5985 I think it was a tribute to her. However, the original song is “Per Sempre” but Rai decided to bring to Baku “L‘ amore è femmina” and not in Italian but in English. What a disaster, I’m still surprised she came 9th (as an Italian). The italian version is still popular in Italy today, I think Rai at least could bring it

Nina is stunning and energetic. I vividly remember this performance, even though I was a little girl in 2012. I fell in love with the song immediately, and after Eurovision I discovered many other Nina's songs not less beautiful and rhythmic. To my Russian mind, she's the voice of Italy, and I eventually travelled around the country in 2014 with Nina's voice in my headphones. What a wonderful memories. Somehow, I'm here, and again it sends shivers up and down my spine.
Nina Zilli is in love of the 1960s Motown music, she even covered Supremes' hits like "You Cant' Hurry Love". It's a pity she's underrated here.

Concordo. Emma è arrivata facendo la sbruffona visto che sulla carta era la più "famosa", per poi conseguire il peggior risultato Italiano nella storia dell'eurovision. Speriamo in una grande proposta per il 2015 in Austria!

Italy has been a brilliant country in Eurovision, they sometimes sounded a bit outdated but the quality of lots of their songs has been completely amazing. Looks like he is only aware of Italy recent history, that btw is pretty good too: "Madness of love", "L'essenziale", "L'amore e femmina", good songs.

Nessun grado di separazione is a surprising entry. It's modern-sounding and flawlessly produced. I usually dislike Italian music (the artists never take any risks, they just play safe and deal with the same topics over the same piano melodies, it gets monotonous), but Francesca is doing a great job and I'm proud of her.
This is one of my favourite songs in Eurovision 2012
She was my absolute favorite last year. It was such a great performance, so unconvential and yet classy all in all.
