Fun fact: msm now has a perfect 300 monsters (not including rares and epics)
So msm has more monsters then pokemon in kanto and jhoto 300-251... but it's more like 250 since male and female nidoran ARE STILL BOTH NIDORANS
Anyways if we count rares and epics/adult and elders (future and current) it'll be 890 to 1020
Which means msm has the same amount of monsters as gen 8 without DLC
But even though DLC would only add 8 mon

I think Ghazt and other plasma monsters would be better as a psychic card, and Jeeode and the crystals should be water, Reebro and other mechs would be steel
