      Thank you for The Sub Love! Welcome, and you’re so welcome! You know you can also add a clasps to your fishing wire,so don’t give up on it😊. Both work great tho! The knots are tough with the wire, but you can do it, then slip it under the bead cover so it looks neat.

      Thank you kindly! Yes, you absolutely can use fish wire for waistbeads. You can tie them or add a clasp to the wire. Do check out my videos where I️ touch on using fish wire. Thank you for watching❣️

      Thank you!! Sure! Magic Stretch Elastic. You can find at your local arts & crafts store, or Amazon. I️ used elastic size 1mm in this video. I️ also use 0.7mm & 0.5mm in this elastic for beads with smaller holes 🕳️ . You can double up the thinner elastic too. Hope this helps! 😊

      Yes I usually use .05, .07 and 1mm, it all depends on the size of the beads. You can also double .05 for waistbead strands.

    You can also call the ends male and female, like plumbing and gas fittings. Male goes in female.

      Yes… that’s totally fine.. as long as you are able to twist the clasps til it locks (& open ) ; it’s doesn’t matter if your knot is in the clasps or outside of the clasps.☺️

    I bought a necklace and It was a bit tight for me like a choker, I wanted to do something abt it and with a lot of research, I found out that i was a barrel clasp necklace, I want to disassemble it and add a new string and add some extra beads to it, Do you have any tips how to remove a barrel clasp.

      There are many ways to add a barrel clasp but the concern for me is that I have no visual of how it was assembled. So, take a look at it and work backwards.

    How do you add the second one if you use wire instead of plastic?

      Great question- this method does not apply when using wire. For wires I use lobster claw clasps, or barrel clasp with a ring around it. I can tell you are an artist, nice observation. 👍🏿

    I think its easier with the elastic string, can you please do a tutorial for a 0.5mm string thats very hard to do, I can't really see the string you using for this tutorial though I think you forgot to mention the kind you using 😉, thanks dear.

      Yes...it works with nylon string and it works with hemp string...haven't seen it work with fish line(string)...

      @@blisswaisticebeads4572 it works with fishing line. I use a lighter to burn the end of the fishing line that will then form a little bulb. So no knot tying needed

      Crimps are tiny. Look for the smallest you can find. I️ don’t have them in front of me right now so I’ll circle back with the exact number.
