I really love that you show real life organization struggles. Very few people have the Pinterest perfect kitchen and struggle with trying to "keep up with the jones". Your ideas have really helped me make sense of my kitchen.
I use my corner spindel for the small appliances I don't use every day like crockpot, air fryer, blender, and such. I found that is most useful because in deep lower cabinets I found I had to get down to pull something I needed from the back of cabinet.
It may sound "cliché" but definitely less is more! More time to relax, less stress and it is much easier to maintain our home nice and clean if we keep decluttering what we don`t actually love or need. You baby is so beautiful! ☺😘
Great motivation!!! I too am working on decluttering and every time I get into a closet or cabinet I’m always questioning how did it get this way and how do 4 people have this much junk? I’ve also found myself saying no more to items people try to give me that I KNOW I won’t use. And that has helped a lot.
For the Lazy Susan I use mine for small appliances so they are not on my counters or taking up space in upper or lower cabinets. Just an idea. 🤷♀️🌸 Great job in decluttering. It looks great! 🌸
I have a lazy Susan cabinet pretty similar in proximity to my oven as yours. I use mine for my spices and put the labels for the spices on the top of the lid of the glass jars. I love it and find it convenient for cooking. There’s organizers you can buy that are built to go around a lazy Susan, no matter what you decide to put in it. Maybe that would help!
I am having my kitchen remodeled and will have two super Susan's. I also bought v-shaped containers that work well. Super Susan's have no middle bar so have a larger space.
Maybe move some of the bakeware stuff from your grandma to the basement as well?? Then when you start baking more (and have the new kitchen) you can bring it back?
I'm watching your video, and you were calling those desert cups ice cream cups, but I bought a set from Walmart for myself and I use them for jello cups . I love mine. As far as ice cream goes, I too eat it out of the carton. By the way I enjoy your videos. I have been inspired to buy that black vaccume wand. I love it but hate the idea of changing a filter every month. Lol
Elaine, just a suggestion ... try putting your 2nd set of measuring spoons upside down in the drawer, so they don't hit the top, when you close the drawer.
Living in a six person household I can relate with moving. Our house is bigger than before.. After a couple of years it's been reorganize again and again.
I read/heard this tip and it works - - When I find something on Amazon I want, I add it to my cart. After awhile, I will go back through the cart and see what I really don't need. Just recently I needed to order filters for my cat fountain. There was a lot in my cart. Nothing needed except for the filters.
Do I have been trying to D clutter for so long and it’s just hard to find someone to Declutter with so even though you’re online I still appreciate it it’s very motivating and your baby is just so cute
I have a corner cabinet but it is not a lazy Susan. when I built my house I did not realize how I have to crawl underneath my kitchen sink to get out this huge storage area. when I was first built here it was fine but as time went on I hated it. so what I store under there now is actually toilet paper and paper towels. the corner has to be there and I can't do a kitchen remodel but even if I did do something different that corner would still be there. I also know of a lady that had a corner like that and she would store Christmas decorations under there she had a small space it was decorations that she would use in her kitchen or her main floor. so that's another thing is use that corner for something that you really don't need to go to. about that corner I have a cabinet that I have to empty out half the cabinet to get at it they did not build a cabinet with triangle shelves like you have so sadly things get put back there and it is a pain to get at and it's three shelves. So what I did do is put some clear containers on the two lower ones and I just don't use the top one. sometimes I think people who create kitchens need to really hear from a person who really is in the kitchen. I'm loving your channel so much
I'm new to your Channel. one other tip for container for eating ice cream is put it in the coffee mug. that's what my neighbor did her kids grew up with eating ice cream out of a coffee cup. easy to hold with a handle
I have the same kitchen layout with the stove and sink swapped, and we do not have a lazy susan. The corner cabinet becomes an abyss no matter what I do.
I have 2 lazy susans' and I love them for my corner shelves because I'm short and it's easy to spin to get what I need instead of getting out the footstool (again) to reach what I need
I know this is off topic but Sutton is so beautiful and can I say that you look amazing as well! Motherhood suits you! I love a good declutter video and this is definitely one…thank you! ♥️
Hi Toots. I store my baking and some skillets in my oven because of lack of space, feel your pain..baby boy is sooo cute🥰and if course big brother as well😍 those pull out drawers would be great for your flour, sugar etc...
Am I the only one who HATES Lazy Susans? I feel like i am missing so much space and would LOVE to pull them out and either just have the cabinet space, or get some of those pull out inserts
Curious about the cleaning items you got rid of. Just wondering if they don't work well or if there's one you like better. The lazy susan I have is different than yours. The whole thing rotates which makes it very functional. For some reason they put a deep cabinet on the other corner that I absolutely hate. Don't understand why they didn't just match the LS.
You are not the only one who feels guilty about how much money has been wasted buying stuff we do not need or want any longer! Nor are you the only one who bought way too much on amazon during the last 2 years. I have actually frozen my amazon charge card! (I NEVER carry a balance on any card since becoming debt free (minus the mortgage)) Amazon can keep their inventory for the rest of the year (or longer!) Oh and speaking of amazon, I have a box in my recycling pile that I used to organize some back stocked spices (no need to buy a fancy plastic container!)
I'm watching this a year late. So this may not get to you. But you can have "extra kitchen" in the basement for things you don't use, but you are not ready to get rid of. Like the baking stuff you don't use from your grandma. Or the lunch box that you don't have use for now, etc. Then you have full access to them if you need them but they are not taking up valuable real estate in the kitchen
you under sink, looks JUST like mine, I HATE it... the room is not well used and if something has to be fixed, its such a pain in the A to get under and around.
I wanted to give you a link to a similar kitchen organization video. It has the same corner cabinets and it may give you some ideas. th-cam.com/video/GP8KvojC6L8/w-d-xo.html
I really love that you show real life organization struggles. Very few people have the Pinterest perfect kitchen and struggle with trying to "keep up with the jones". Your ideas have really helped me make sense of my kitchen.
I have a lazy Susan and keep my pots and pans in mine. They are easy to see and get to.
You are so good at organizing! It must have been so hard for you to have the cabinets so unorganized for so long! 😀 great job Catherine!! 💖
for your measuring cups, try flipping them openside down in the drawer. should help with the hitting
👍👍yep....that's what I had to do
I’m so proud of you for purging unused items!!!! I love purging!!! It’s so much easier to maintain a space when you have less. Yay 😊😊🎉🎉😊😊
I use my corner spindel for the small appliances I don't use every day like crockpot, air fryer, blender, and such. I found that is most useful because in deep lower cabinets I found I had to get down to pull something I needed from the back of cabinet.

Try putting your black measuring cups upside down maybe that will help?
Ice cream out of the carton? Yes girl!
Thank you for the videos and everytime I watched them I always get motivated. God bless you and your family! 💕🙏👍🏻

I’ve found that turning the measuring cups upside down keep them from catching when I open the drawer. Great video!
For the Lazy Susan I use mine for small appliances so they are not on my counters or taking up space in upper or lower cabinets. Just an idea. 🤷♀️🌸 Great job in decluttering. It looks great! 🌸
I use mine for small appliances too
Oh! You can buy a retractable apple cord. That’s what we use for a charger in our kitchen because we don’t want the cord everywhere. I love it.

Could the essential oils go in that small drawer?
Wait that’s a great idea actually!!
Totally doing that
Another great video! There’s something so cathartic about decluttering and organizing.
Maybe move some of the bakeware stuff from your grandma to the basement as well?? Then when you start baking more (and have the new kitchen) you can bring it back?
Very good Catherine you the best for organize thank you

You did a great job decluttering and using what you had to organize!
I'm thinking for the cords a container that has deviders you can adjust or drawer deviders where the set up is just for cords

It's a mental assignment 🙃 the cleaning ,sorting etc is easy But setting up a system is harder.
Hi Toots. I store my baking and some skillets in my oven because of lack of space, feel your pain..baby boy is sooo cute🥰and if course big brother as well😍 those pull out drawers would be great for your flour, sugar etc...
You did a good job at decluttering and me and my family also call it a "junk drawer" also
Love your organizational skills.
Great job, well done - I have 2 cutting boards too; plenty 💖
I love your decluttering videos. I feel like kitchens always need to be declutter and organized. It always feels good when you are done. Take care 💛
I change my cabinets and draws in my kitchen all the time.lt is very frustrating when one thing does not work and l end up changing everything.
Great declutter and organize Catherine ❤️
…and here I sit watching you do what I should be doing…
🤣🙈me to🤭
Great video, you did a good job
Am I the only one who HATES Lazy Susans? I feel like i am missing so much space and would LOVE to pull them out and either just have the cabinet space, or get some of those pull out inserts
Binder clips will hold the cords/chargers together.
I use a tackle box for the cords, and I have labels that velcro around the cords so I know exactly what they belong to.
Oooooh such a good idea!

Hello Catherine, your baby is so handsome. You are so blessed. Love your program!!
Turn the measuring cups upside down. This will keep the handles from hitting and dust/debris out of them.
💜💜💜
About Amazon making it way too easy, I hear ya sister.
Eat it out of the container like a savage!😂

I would but we have had mice in the past so I’m not sure it’s a good idea 😭
I just worry about things staying sanitary
That's fair. We don't have mice, so I didn't think of that.
❤️
Hes soo freaking stinking cute 😍 💓 ...
👍
