The first one was when I discovered the 19xx series of games and you were the only channel that I could find that reviewed and compared loads of them. Interestingly enough I now associate your channel with Shei S and Isra C. I was first introduced to them last year at Essen, when I purchased The White Castle. Then watching your video, I realised that they had designed 1987 Channel Tunnel. I've since purchased The Red Cathedral and now you're telling me about Flatiron and Keyframes.

When he said he had space left in his suitcase, I asked him to get it but it had sold out already (started playing it on BGA). Very jealous of your trip to Essen Spiele. Really varied collection of games….i played Pirates Of Maracaibo at Gridcon last year and really enjoyed it…. Think Minos and Unconscious Minds are the 2 games that really caught my eye…but I totally agree with you about games being available before backers get them…I’ve backed a couple that have been sold at shows before fulfilment but the publishers always told us this would happen… Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to everyone. My favourite game that was at Essen juts turned up this morning for me, Unconscious Mind. So happy! If I had to pick another, I would say: Kanal (which is the reprinting of Oranienburger Kanal) I love those T-shirts, btw.

What a bargain purchase with Aldebaran Duel. We love Vladimir Suchý games and to purchase this game in the UK we had to ship it in. We were intrigued to play a Suchý two-player game with multi-use cards, that has tough decisions throughout. It will be interesting to hear your views of the game, once you get a chance to play it! Lastly, thank you for guiding us on the path of being a collector of 19XX games.
We are very glad that we got Aldebaran Duel. Equally, very very disappointed on the box size / content ratio! The box could be a third of the size. Hopefully, the gameplay will be good - we also like multiuse cards! 19xx series is awesome, so much game in small boxes and the themes are excellent!
We agree entirely with your views on the box size/contents ratio. The contents could have easily fitted in a Targi shaped box. We love that companies like Devir and Looping games are demonstrating you can have a great crunchy game in a small box. So far in the 19xx series we have played 1902, 1923 & 1987. (We have five more on order) We have enjoyed all three and have a soft spot for 1987 but that is probably because of our love of the games of Shei S & Isra C.

Black Forest was my number one most anticipated and I pre-ordered it as soon as I could. I'm on the fence about Civoluition, but I think I'm going to go for it. Think I want Saltfjord as well. We still really enjoy it. Sky Team has been very well received in Poland, so I hope our publisher will continue to support its development. We already have Lost Fleet for Gaia and it’s patiently waiting for its turn to be played. I'm very curious about Minos-I think I’ve heard a lot of good opinions about the game. Great haul! It was our first time at Essen too this year. A bit overwhelming compared to UKGE but had a great time.
We found it much more manageable than UKGE in terms of crowd tbh!
