Id like to chime in and say the Recon 250 has became one of my all time favorite four-wheelers. Mine is ES model so literally anyone can drive it. Its extremely Agile and navigating off-trail through some what dense forest is actually possible with its narrowness and small turn radius. Its a breath of fresh air and its aged like fine wine. Shaft system instead of chain or cvt makes it very easy to maintain.
I got the es model too mines an 05, they're so much fun to just throw around and have fun in mud holes to take them through deep water and my intake is stock. it just floats pretty much. Hondas are boats as they say
I have a 02 recon es and drive it way more than my Polaris, it’s just so much more fun on trails in my opinion
love the recon, it was my very first atv, when I was 14, way back in 2001. I'm dying to get another one.

The Recons are very good, almost fells overpowered for the size and weight. I've had one up to 50mph and wasn't sketchy at all.
BTW do NOT get one with the button shift they have so many problems with delay and just not working entirely.

Frickin' LOVE IT!! Have 2 of them and they're such a blast. Don't have to worry about the 2wd much cause you can throw your weight into and get it moving. Stock intake is just about at the front of the seat, where it curves up, plenty for those smaller mud spots.

Hell yeah man I love recons,I have a 2016 but have done some power mods(high compression piston,full hmf exhaust,hmf jetting kit,and a rev box tuner)mine is pretty quick and hits about 65ish but just stay away from neutral dropping,I started doing it last year for wheeling and just yesterday when I was riding it started to go out so I have to get new clutch plates but other than that these things are rippers
I really want to get some coil or electronic for my yamaha to have a rev limiter, does your rev box tuner do that or what's it for?
The reconge are so good They go through the mud like nothing.
I personally believe Braydon Price should get a 6x6 fourwheeler I think I would be really cool because he could use it for work, he could put mud tires ,and snorkal it andithink it would be good to see it on his channel

Love the Honda recons!!! I’ve rode a recon in 2 feet of mud and slush and it never gets stuck and it’s a stock atv. I wouldn’t pick another quad!!!
Next Braydon should get a pit side by side the rzr200 and have all the pit vehicles.

I used to have a recon 250 with mud tires on the rear and it always surprised me every time i hit a mud whole they are unstoppable little things
See that's why the older ATV's were more fun they were smaller more nimble and every time you made it through a mud pit you were amazed that actually made it.
In my personal opinion, you made a very good choice for a candidate for a play fourwheeler 👍🏻
The Honda recon 250 was the second atv I had. I did a fair amount of videos with it and it was a lot of fun! Only problem i had with it was the front brakes are drum brakes and they suck.
The only thing I did to mine was changing the tires to swamp lights but other than that. their a ton of fun no question!

A full grown man squealin while riding a Recon is exactly how I described my first ride on mine. I put 1/4" tech screws in the oem tires and took it on the frozen river behind my house, its a blast. These small 2wd utility ATVs are important to a lot of us in the north cuz of the their light weight for ice fishing.

True story, many years ago my older brother got hit head on by a car while on a recon 250, car was doing at least 40mph. My brother walked away without a scratch. Recon still runs strong to this day. Tough ass little machines for sure. 🤘🏼

I’ve had a 2006 Honda Recon 250 since I bought it new in 2006, it is the most reliable, fun, do it all four wheeler I’ve ever owned. Mine has been to brown mountain, on motocross tracks and to the Hatfield and McCoy trails countless times. Wouldn’t trade it for the world!
I love our recon, grandpa likes it for work because it’s nimble and fast getting off and on, but on trails you can just throw it around like no other, we have good rear tires and in mud if it’s real bad to can just lift or shake around and your golden! 10/10

Here is a tip about a 250 recon, they are really easy to roll in first gear
Put a motor in the renegade or if you sold it by another and build it exactly like the old one and the videos are better with mud all over the camera because you know your sending it

I think u guys should try sport quads it’s something different and the 250s don’t rip that hard but still got a little Pep and supper fun. They also wheelie extremely well

A Few Years back I was going to get a Recon, but Polaris makes a competitor to the Recon, its called the Pheonix 200. I went with the pheonix, way more power and more beefy suspension and frame
Hands down, the BEST little digger I’ve ever road. I had one about 10 years ago it was new 2012, I BEAT that thing and it never died.

i have a recon 250, an 04 model and its an absolute tank. super fun ripper since its so light, and makes for a great send unit because its so hard to kill and so light that if you get it stuck you can just pick it up and move it out. 10/10 would recommend, only complaint is it is slow haha, it tops out around 40mph and take like 15 seconds to get there.
They do good in mud trust me
Stupid but might be a good idea, but you should snorkel it put paddle tires on it and some sort of floats under each fender and make it a little boat 😂

I grew up on a Suzuki Ozark 250 which is basically a recon and it was a blast!! I now have a recon 250 ES model and love it! So fun to rip around and ride wheelies for days!!

I love my Honda recon 250 it’s so light you can ride two wheels. It does surprisingly well in mud because of how light it is. You can manhandle it through the holes😂 I’ve never gotten the wheelie down so I’m gonna have to practice more.

something ive noticed about the Recons is they can keep up with the rubicons and ranchers without needing IRS or 4WD.
You could also get the trx 250s there cheaper than the recons
I've had my 2018 Honda Recon since we bought it off the lot and all I can say is this thing won't die. I love my recon sunk the thing 2 times started right up burned the water out and like brand new. Also thing is a beast got the thing stuck one time and it was because it was in sand in a creek no chance at all. Other than that the thing doesn't give up. Would say hope it treats you well but I know it will for a fact
I think BP should get a Snow mobile for the new property would be dope content.

Those recons are bullet proof i have one and its a beast even for 2 wheel drive and it pops grate wheelies.
