But the only world knows that boys over flower was the reason why we know Kdrama exists. BOF is the legendary kdrama of all time, and it internationally opened the door for other kdrama.
Goong was my first in 2006 kdrama but I rally didn’t pay attention & in 2011 I discovered boys Over Flowers ♥️♥️ so basically goong and boys Over Flowers were my first.
Reply 1988 is by far the best Kdrama I’ve ever watched. I had trouble watching another after watching it. I cried so much not because it was sad, but because it was heartwarming. And the nostalgia, omg! It will make you long for your youth. The friendship in the series is so genuine that it’s envious. And yes, there is romance here. I never thought young love would make my heart flutter as much as it did! Do yourself a favor and watch it. It’s unforgettable ❤️

I love both The Heirs and Legend of the Blue Sea, not only because of Lee Min Ho but because of its beautiful storyline and acting of the lead. They are worth watching over and over again and still feel the same heart fluttering and emotional vibe. The King Eternal Monarch is also beautiful and have a unique plot and superb acting perfomance by the leads
Honestly, why people are not talking about the flower of evil? That drama is so good yet so underated. I truly hope it gets the hype it actually deserve. 💯 recommended

I started my K Drama with 'Coffee Prince' last week, and I can say that it is one of the best series I've watched yet of this genre, so realistic, the humour, the romance, the chemistry between the leads 😍, next I'll be watching Goblin because I can't stop thinking about Gong Yoo since I've watched Coffee Prince. He is damn fine. ❤️

Suspicious Partner has THE best cast ever! It also has everything a plot should have. I can watch Kill Me, Heal Me over and over and over! The multiple personality plot is perfect. The main characters are perfect. JiSung is absolutely brilliant in all seven parts. And Park Se Joons character broke my heart.
Yess at first when i watched king eternal monarch i really hate kim go eun because i feels nothing special about her , after that movie i watch goblin and walla i fall in love with her , the kiss scene and the chemistry between her and gong yoo made me feels alive eventhought i love lee min ho but he can beat goblin

Scarlet Ryeo was based on a Chinese Drama in 2011 Scarlet Heart was set during the Qing Dynasty Reign of Emperor Kangxi... I recommend you to watch it it's a beautiful drama...
GOBLIN is my all time favorite Kdrama to watch, especially the second male and second female lead story. My love from the Star, You're Beautiful, Coffee Prince, Boys Over flowers are also great. But Moon Lovers broke my heart.
Extraordinary you started well but at the end... It turned predictable and kind of disappointing... It tried to make fun of all the K drama tropes but at the end they did it itself... What the fuck... Second lead gets nothing.. Lead having past connections.. Etc...

Exception to My Mister since it is really realistic & so heart breaking

Scarlet Heart is meh, I love IU and she is one of my favourite person in the world but thats drama is just mediocre it doesnt hold a candle to the original
The first 6 episodes of it seems to be happy and comedious but when you are in the half way through of the show it becomes really intense which is very hookening. But it was a flop in South Korea but a mege huge success abroad.
Yes!! This is my favourite k drama and it’s really sad that it wasn’t well received in Korea, but I’m glad that abroad it was. The fact that was a happy and funny story in the beginning and then starts to get darker just shows how realistic it is.
I have to say Pinocchio was the first ever Korean drama I watched and it deserves better! It's so good! I think it's way better than Crash Landing On You. And I know Mr Sunshine is a little bit newer, but it deserves a mention!
I was wondering how did they come up with this top anyway, I mean they did include excellent choices, but I mean... BOF? Sheesh, that was an excruciating experience for me, I get it that it is very nostalgic to ppl and it was kind of the start of all the craze with kdramas (and I get it, really, clothes, haistyles, everything, I would assume I would've looked at it differently had I watched it at the time) but duuuude, that girl cannot act for s**t. Anyway, Mr Sunshine broke me inside, it was so intense and so sad, and the love story...man, despite the age difference it was done so well, respectfully and it got all the points across. Surprised to see no drama listed with Park Seojoon. He’s such a good actor. “Itaewon class”, “What’s wrong with secretary kim”, “she was pretty” are some nice kdramas to binge watch. Also if you like historical dramas then “Hwarang” is one such underrated drama and has such a powerful cast.

This is a much better list, but still missing some of the great ones such as Mother, My Mister, and all the Reply and Playlist series. Jewel of the Palace, My Dearest, and Faith (for the soundtrack) are my additions to your historical dramas.
I never liked any of the playful kiss or boys over flowers versions, they made the female lead with no self worth in both dramas, and the guys entitled.
I love the lead female in Hana Yori Dango. She can stand her ground, even if she's pushed around sometimes. She is way more convincing (and feisty) than her counterpart in the Korean version. But I completely agree that women in all the Playful Kiss versions are getting stepped on and don't even resist it...
it should be on top list! the writer was brilliant! it was a rollercoaster emotions. I laughed and cried in each episodes. The acting were superb.Everyone gave justice to their roles and they werent trying hard to act, it comes out naturally like i was watching a real thing.I super love this kdrama.
I don’t know why nobody is mentioning Cinderella and Four Knights. Was my first Kdrama, and seriously, no other can compare to it!!! The innocence, the music, the drama and the chemistry between the two leads is a difficult act to follow!!! This series got me hooked!!! Highly recommend!!

I discovered K drama’s in 2021 during Covid lockdown, so I have watched a lot since then. For me “Healer” has to be the most underrated K drama, I just loved it, and sits in 1st place. Coming in 2nd would be Hometown Cha Cha.

Its underrated in Korea but was well received internationally. I myself would say the production level and the storyline is just perfect. The actors are top notch. Too bad not many people have seen it.

Also, I feel like I never hear anyone talking about it, but Save Me is the BEST Korean drama I've ever seen and it's so underrated! The acting is incredible! It's like a freaking thriller movie!
Scarlet Heart Ryeo MoonLovers is the only drama that makes me feel happiness and pain at the same time…it literally broke my heart and i still cannot move on from their sad end. Hope for a Season 2. ☺️🌓💖💖💖
If you are new to Kdrama don't start with it's okay to not be okay because this is so freaking good. It surpasses your expectation. I still remember how empty I felt after finishing it.
SPILLLLLLLLL!!!! I held myself back from watching it for too long. And now that I've watched it, I feel like there's no purpose for me to live anymore. I wish i could erase my memory just to watch it over and over again. It's just therapeutic.

cheese in traps isnt that much to my liking maybe cuz I first read the webtoon and as always no drama or film can be as good as it should when u read a book (well there is a few exceptions )
Itaewon Class is one of the best Kdramas because it has everything - superb lead acting by Park Seo Jun, diverse cast delivering relevant and current issues "realistically"

Yea it's good but I find Kim Ji Ah and Go Gwi Nam a more interesting couple than the lead couple maybe because I didn't really like Ms Kim's character, she's more eager about remembering her past than to understand Mr. Lee's feelings in the present time and the fact that the boy in her past was actually Mr Lee made me felt like it was forced for them to end up with each other in the future which makes Mr Lee's brother (I forgot his name) character no point at all.

My all-time favorite KDrama would have to be Hospital Playlist, it's got a perfect balance of everything, plus the depiction of life inside a hospital is as accurate as it gets.
I have seen most of these K-drama, but I have to say that "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is my all time favorite, from the story to the cas, I think it was perfect and it's not your typical drama ending. Also, I wish that "Uncontrollably Fond" made the list.

Reply 1988 is by far the best Kdrama I’ve ever watched. I had trouble watching another after watching it. I cried so much not because it was sad, but because it was heartwarming. And the nostalgia, omg! It will make you long for your youth. The friendship in the series is so genuine that it’s envious. And yes, there is romance here. I never thought young love would make my heart flutter as much as it did!
Do yourself a favor and watch it. It’s unforgettable ❤️

I love both The Heirs and Legend of the Blue Sea, not only because of Lee Min Ho but because of its beautiful storyline and acting of the lead. They are worth watching over and over again and still feel the same heart fluttering and emotional vibe. The King Eternal Monarch is also beautiful and have a unique plot and superb acting perfomance by the leads

I started my K Drama with 'Coffee Prince' last week, and I can say that it is one of the best series I've watched yet of this genre, so realistic, the humour, the romance, the chemistry between the leads 😍, next I'll be watching Goblin because I can't stop thinking about Gong Yoo since I've watched Coffee Prince. He is damn fine. ❤️

I can watch Kill Me, Heal Me over and over and over! The multiple personality plot is perfect. The main characters are perfect. JiSung is absolutely brilliant in all seven parts. And Park Se Joons character broke my heart.

Scarlet Heart is meh, I love IU and she is one of my favourite person in the world but thats drama is just mediocre it doesnt hold a candle to the original
The first 6 episodes of it seems to be happy and comedious but when you are in the half way through of the show it becomes really intense which is very hookening. But it was a flop in South Korea but a mege huge success abroad.

The fact that was a happy and funny story in the beginning and then starts to get darker just shows how realistic it is.

I have to say Pinocchio was the first ever Korean drama I watched and it deserves better! It's so good! I think it's way better than Crash Landing On You. And I know Mr Sunshine is a little bit newer, but it deserves a mention!
I was wondering how did they come up with this top anyway, I mean they did include excellent choices, but I mean... BOF? Sheesh, that was an excruciating experience for me, I get it that it is very nostalgic to ppl and it was kind of the start of all the craze with kdramas (and I get it, really, clothes, haistyles, everything, I would assume I would've looked at it differently had I watched it at the time) but duuuude, that girl cannot act for s**t.
Anyway, Mr Sunshine broke me inside, it was so intense and so sad, and the love story...man, despite the age difference it was done so well, respectfully and it got all the points across. And Pinocchio just ... again, so well acted and so smart.

Surprised to see no drama listed with Park Seojoon. He’s such a good actor. “Itaewon class”, “What’s wrong with secretary kim”, “she was pretty” are some nice kdramas to binge watch. Also if you like historical dramas then “Hwarang” is one such underrated drama and has such a powerful cast.

I never liked any of the playful kiss or boys over flowers versions, they made the female lead with no self worth in both dramas, and the guys entitled.

I love the lead female in Hana Yori Dango. She can stand her ground, even if she's pushed around sometimes. She is way more convincing (and feisty) than her counterpart in the Korean version. But I completely agree that women in all the Playful Kiss versions are getting stepped on and don't even resist it...

I don’t know why nobody is mentioning Cinderella and Four Knights. Was my first Kdrama, and seriously, no other can compare to it!!! The innocence, the music, the drama and the chemistry between the two leads is a difficult act to follow!!! This series got me hooked!!! Highly recommend!!

I discovered K drama’s in 2021 during Covid lockdown, so I have watched a lot since then. For me “Healer” has to be the most underrated K drama, I just loved it, and sits in 1st place. Coming in 2nd would be Hometown Cha Cha.

Its underrated in Korea but was well received internationally. I myself would say the production level and the storyline is just perfect. The actors are top notch. Too bad not many people have seen it.

2020 brought us great Kdramas with Crash Landing on you, The King Eternal Monarch, Its Okay to not be okay, Itaewon Class and Start Up.
Also, I feel like I never hear anyone talking about it, but Save Me is the BEST Korean drama I've ever seen and it's so underrated! The acting is incredible! It's like a freaking thriller movie!

My first kdrama was Moon Lovers: Scarlet Hearts Reyo and I still think it's the best from what I've seen.
Scarlet Heart Ryeo MoonLovers is the only drama that makes me feel happiness and pain at the same time…it literally broke my heart and i still cannot move on from their sad end. Hope for a Season 2. ☺️🌓💖💖💖

If you are new to Kdrama don't start with it's okay to not be okay because this is so freaking good. It surpasses your expectation. I still remember how empty I felt after finishing it.

cheese in traps isnt that much to my liking maybe cuz I first read the webtoon and as always no drama or film can be as good as it should when u read a book (well there is a few exceptions )
Itaewon Class is one of the best Kdramas because it has everything - superb lead acting by Park Seo Jun, diverse cast delivering relevant and current issues "realistically"

Yea it's good but I find Kim Ji Ah and Go Gwi Nam a more interesting couple than the lead couple maybe because I didn't really like Ms Kim's character, she's more eager about remembering her past than to understand Mr. Lee's feelings in the present time and the fact that the boy in her past was actually Mr Lee made me felt like it was forced for them to end up with each other in the future which makes Mr Lee's brother (I forgot his name) character no point at all.

I have seen most of these K-drama, but I have to say that "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is my all time favorite, from the story to the cas, I think it was perfect and it's not your typical drama ending. Also, I wish that "Uncontrollably Fond" made the list.

DEFENDANT played by Ji Sung will always be my best kdrama. I have recommended it to everyone. My 2 sisters and my husband who were not fond of kdramas even loved it. Every end of the episode will make you want to watch the next episode
