I love my SF1000 wheel. It is true it was a pain to get the firmware updated, but it was really worth it, previous firmware would reset the wheel midrace and lose control for a second in F1 23, there are no more crashes after the update. I highly recommend upgrading the paddle shifters, it feel less clunky and its more helpful during fast downshifting
@@downoldinho9459 I would say as much as 50% quieter, you cant go wrong with the upgraded ones. I honestly wished they never shipped the wheel with those loud and slow shifters
@@tf1sebas585 alright thanks for the info. This was my first wheel so I assumed they felt the same as other shifters it was just the sound that bothered me.
I don’t regret moving on from my thrustmaster gear but I do miss this. It was perfect for F1 and LMP cars. Could have got the 488 GT3 and T818 to go with this and been done
I love this wheel. But was getting deeply annoyed by the loud shifter clicks. Now I’ve successfully silenced the shifters by 95%! Without upgrading. More pleasant to drive now. I can actually hear the transmission downshift! 👍
Was lucky enough to get this before Christmas at £100 less than rrp. I've still not used it yet as I want to complete GT7 before I mount it up for F1 21 ('23 will follow once 21 is completed). Mounted on my wall atm via a 3D printed part and it looks so awesome!
@@tenbob1973 thanks! Assuming you’re using it on ps5, what are the best games you are using with this great wheel? F1 mainly? (just ordered to upgrade the 599XX ;) hopefully GT7 will add new integrations ;)
F124, so I have the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition with PS5 and TGT-II Base, during a race when my DRS is available and I click on the button on the wheel, nothing happens and I don’t go over 160ish or so. I reassigned the button several times and the DRS still doesn’t work. Another question, under settings, (controls, vibration and & force feedback) which wheel do you select that is listed? Because the SF1000 doesn’t show up as an option but it still works if I choose any other wheel. One last thing to mention, under settings when I am assigning the DRS to a button it does respond but not in races. I have found out I am not he only one with this problem.
Do you know where you can get the best deal on this with the base because I don’t have much of a budget but don’t want to get a cheap, different version of this wheel.
Not sure is my honest answer. I've only tried it with the T818 and it shipped with the T818. Hopefully someone else in the comments can help you out with this one. Sorry!
I'm running this with an T818. Works quite fine. The most important development were the replacable pedals.

The main issue I have with the paddle shifters is the loud sound. Are the upgraded ones quieter ?

Good call. I’ve only heard good things about the upgrade shifters. Honestly updating the firmware is a nightmare!

Are the upgraded paddles the T chrono paddles

This wheel is ideal for formula style cars like you say. Really unmatchable within the price point.
@@SimRacingSetups yeah I definitely miss it. Sometimes I wish I gave the t818 a chance. Cool video like always 😎
I have the upgraded shifters and it feels so much smoother and its alot quieter
I’m thinking about snagging one of these for console (PS5) for F1 24. Is it worth it?

Can you make a video how to enter and exit pitlane manually please
Which buttons do you use during racing for F1?
all.

Why not using it for GT7? Just asking…
@@gmeardi No real reason, just wanted to keep it for F1. Screen doesn't show much in GT7 but tbh I very rarely have time to look at the screen 😂

@@gmeardi yeah I'm really just using the wheel for F1 but obviously it can be used for any racing games.
Would you recommend this for f1 24 ps5?
Do youhave a set up for Thrustmaster TS-XW Racer Sparco P310 Competition Mod Racing Wheel
Is it easy to use with T300 on PS4 pls?

What are good pedals and wheel base with it?
I have the thrustmaster tx-sw racer base with the T-LCM pedals the base has very good force feedback and the pedals are excellent
@@peat6773can u send me a link to the tx-sw? i can only find a tx-xw
Did anyone now which buttons to push for center the wheel? I play on Xbox
Should I buy the Moza FSR or this Thrustmaster wheel for half the price?
Depends which ecosystem you are in as it’s hard to use the thrustmaster wheel with a non thrustmaster base. Both are equally excellent wheels
Planning on buying this wheel along with the T300 base. Is the desk mounting kit compatible with all the base?. It only says T818.

I have this same steering wheel with the t300 base. Does work with F1 23 but needs to be remapped in game
Can you also just use a fanaten wheel base with that wheel
Not that I know of without a bit of tinkering.
Quality aside it looks fantastic.
