Pink also fits very well but the Byzantium can be in many colours and the purple in the game is not exactly the imperial colour. The imperial colour is a much more red-ish purple rather than this tone of purple in the game.

@@AussieDrongo yep. Still remember from some of the recent EGC streams when he was in the chat, everyone was asking him to give leaks about the DLC before info about the new civs was circling around 😆 or KP getting on his case about the game's integer/decimal calculations. Can't not love him

Lol, Byz elephants are way better than Delhi elephants.
Byzantines actually use a lot of unique units better than their parent civ. Triumph on feudal age mangudi makes them do almost double damage.
First time see Hipodrom in game it looks really good for pressure
The cistern only boosts military unit production rates. Do traders count as military units, cause otherwise that third cistern is wasted

They are considered cavalry instead of economic unit for some reason
Trader listed as Worker and Cavalry if I'm not mistaken , so it got faster from cavalry side as military units
This was a great action packed game, impressed how Faye kept holding it together with the trading as well

there´s none in the game but mounted infantry is that they deploy mounted but fight as infantry...if they remake Celts for AoE 4 I would like to see mounted infantry for them

It's relic, they've always neglected caster mode.
Their mainline series Company of Heroes always had horrid caster mode.
COH3 didnt even launch with caster mode.
Also, how is relic performing on AOE4? Player numbers good/okay?
Since their last few titles have been extremely shaky. COH3/DOW3. (And COH2 wasnt all too popular I believe, I thoroughly enjoyed it, esp after years of updates lmao)
The whole industry is trying to turn every multiplayer game into a spectator sport without thinking about how people are going to spectate their sport.
@@EmperorSigismund sadly yea. Like with COH2-3 they wanted to make it an E-sport, but they werent making good maps themselves, nor handling any of it correctly.
The community has to organise/pay for tounaments.
Also what the community is really good at is maps. Esp since the developers seem to be extremely shit at making maps these days. It takes them almost a year to make a single map and it usually isn't properly balenced/doesn't flow correctly. (seen in almost every game, from RTS to FPS.)
i think that the western contract is just the best. the synergy between longbows and byzantin inf is insane
Eastern is good as well. Keshik lets you double on cav early and Ghulam let you build mangos and springalds without a siegeshop. Silk is the one I don't see much use for.

Huge fan from here in New Mexico, here I’m the states! Watching your games and casted games I’ve learned a lot! Really helped with my game! I have a question though. I play on Xbox, and I would love to see you cast some lower tier games. I’m in good and I’d like to hear what you have to say about what is being done that wrong or miss placed. Just throwing out some tips on these games to help us lower tier guys work on moving up the ladder. Either way, love the content. G’Day!!!🤘

The circle aura always gives villagers efficiency buff. The square area gives buildings buffs based on what you select on that specific cistern (military production, research speed or damage reduction).

Loving the new expac, I do feel Order of the Dragon is a Lil overtuned but maybe they just feel OP when ahead?
I think they’re the easiest to play of the new civs, and the army interactions are the most foreign to us so in time I think they’ll balance out.
I've actually had decent enough games against OotD, even as Byzantines (I'm only a lowly Gold).
You really just have to scout and counter, something that's obviously always important, but even as a lowbie you can't get away with not doing it against OotD. Killing their units seriously hurts.
Byzantine was too hyped up. Trash civ
they are fun to play, cool mechanics and in generel loads of interessting stuff. very diverse. not trash at all.
@@theBaebbls Total trash. 50% of their roster is literally units from other factions because the devs can't be arsed to make Byzantines unique, they have one of the least cost-efficient units in the game in the form of Catas and the biggest joke unit in the form of Varangians (40 gold for a weaker MAA LOL but I guess getting extra armor around wonder makes them "versatile" LOL). Only "viable" way to play them is to use units from other factions because their own are horseshit bad.
