What mine does is I’ve been charging it for like 4 hours with a brand new charger (keep in mind my phones only like 4 months old) I hold down the power button for 3 seconds and all I see is a white line at the top of my screen flicker 3 times, pause flicker 3 times, and on and on until I stop holding the button

I have a strange situation. I plug in my phone and it says its charging and gaining battery, and when it's full I try to turn it on. I hold the power button and it says "google" but the disappears before saying that my phone is charging again. When it was operational, it would die really early and not let me turn it back on at around 50 percent. It slowly went into 70 percent and then to the point where my phone is unusable outside of the charger. Here we are now.
i haven't tried this yet, but my phone just froze, i turned it off then on and it turned all black. i put it on charge for 10 mins and nothing happend. it happend to me more then once and my step dad fixed it. but it wasnt ALL black then, it had 2 apps at the top and then the screen goes fully black with some apps on top. in 4 hours he will come home and lets hope he fixies this. if he doesnt then i'll try your help and if it dont work i'll do other helpers method. if it works and it comes alive again (xd) i will charger it around 20 or lower battery. and i'll try not drop it anymore. i have a samsung galaxy not 8 by the way edit- i might ask for apple now
This really help, my phone got splashed by a Water and i turned it on quick . When i opened it it showes the Logo flickering .. I slept instead cause i think that it will fix later. After i wake up i holded the power button for a few seconds and its just vibrating..

just got this problem earlier, it probably got wet if it stopped working after u charged it so i advise u clean the charger hole and the holes near it w cotton or smth and give ur phone a few shakes
On No. 6, on the 'bootloop' issue, you left out- hold power button down for 10 seconds, then hold down volume button down for 45 seconds. That is what got my Android out of bootloop. Otherwise I would have thought I had bricked it.

if a phone gets wet DO NOT press any buttons dont turn it off no buttons okay, take the back off and remove the battery then leave the phone in airing cupboard near your home heating for 2 weeks to increase your chances of saving it just dry the battery off with a towel and keep it in a draw, pressing buttons seem to cause more damage, dont drop your phone down the toilet then start pressing buttons to see if it still works thats a bad idea, i dont recommend you keep battery near heat so dry it with towel and store it at regular room temp, your phone will have collected most of the water thats gonna take time to dry.

Can someone please help me out here? I'm so lost, I just want my phone working! :( UPDATE/EDIT: So it was actually the wipes that had bubbles and lysol in it. That was for cleaning, not for phones. So that caused an leak between my old phone. It's now not working anymore but I have an new phone. And guys when you're cleaning your phone don't use any cleaning products because it can potentially damage your phone and that's not an good thing. Instead use a dried-water-cloth and gently wipe it on the sides, front side of your phone, left side and screen. Don't clean the bottom because that can make your phone in headphone mode and I've learnt that the hard way. After cleaning your phone use a paper towel on your phone to wipe.

I left my phone overnight plugged to a charger and it has shown some life signs, but later nothing, it just acts like it's dead

Replaced the usb cable with the one I use for my dualshock. It's open now! Turns out the cable was at fault. Thank you! :)

My phone suddenly started to lag for about 5 to 8 seconds when i was watching a video on chrome, and it shutted down, it didn't show the logo or the boot screen, i tried to boot it up again but it didn't work, so i plugged it to the charger and it still didn't do anything (yes, the charger work's).
It has been about 4 days since i was trying to turn it on but it still wont turn on.
I also tried a new battery but it didn't work.
I don't want to take it to repair because i absolutely don't want to risk loosing all of my data.
It's a Samsung galaxy J5 form 2015 (ik it's old)

When i first plugged in my charging it was showing 0% battery and switching on and not increasing. Some one suggested me to keep it l9ike thatt for few hours but only 15 minutes later it stopped charging (did not even increase from 0) and now wont even charge. And the processor is heated up I have tried different cable, ad4apters and battery but still wont charge or switch on. I tried to reboot but i cant even switch it on to reboot.
