Thank you for describing the formula and shades in the new Prada eyeshadows. I was, until now, mildly interested in them. The shade curations are very odd (remind me of Missoni). I am curious about the brushes, which look nice. I would want to know if they are made in Europe or in Japan, and whether they are synthetic fibres or a mix of synthetic fibres and natural hair (goat, squirrel, etc.). Thanks again.
The number 3 “red” color is actually a brick orange. In the Number 6 quad, the “red” is really a deep pink - I am not happy about this.
Thanks for mentioning my review. No 3 looks good in the photos - I thought the red would work as a blush.

@@bobmindset Thanks. I hope the Chanel palettes will be delivered tomorrow but unfortunately I am away for work so will have to pick up at the weekend. I'm excited to try them, even though it appears a lot of people think they are not strongly pigmented. I am less bothered if the texture is ok because my eyes do better with a wash of colour rather than a vivid hue.
Have you seen the review by Lenallure? These palettes did not even catch my eye, I did not even notice they were quads! But then I watched her video, and I thought the palette she used (black/silver/yellow) looked so good! Especially since I do not have a silver in my collection (!), and I think the yellow is often surprisingly flattering. The foundation also looks promising. I am a huge Prada fan!!! How great that you live in Milan - crazy that they have not launched this line there. 😒
Yes, I’m watching all the reviews. I have many silver eyeshadows. I swatched my best ones at the end of this video. That’s why I won’t buy that quad 02 for now. Maybe later if I find an offer.. It’s very pretty 😍
Gee, I'm interested in the matte lipstick, so far the colors reviewed are nudes, I want to see the brighter shades lol!

Can you tell me where you have seen the dark yellow somewhere else? I don’t know if a dupe in that shade.
@@Monicalala Off the top of my head I'd say Profusion Citrine or even another Profusion palette (Neon?). Ulta Brand Sunbeam palette possibly? Juvia's Place Garden of Juvia? There must be others too in the non-high end brands, esp. those that do rainbow palettes.
@@lr8607 these aren’t like this shade at all. The Prada yellow has a little bit of black in it, like looking at a primary yellow in the shade would give off. The Javius is a corn kernel yellow shimmer. The Ulta one is like a school bus yellow. The Profusion is a banana peel yellow or a canary yellow. But to each their own opinion!
You know now that you mention it, the Pat 5 pan mattes really are more like the other “no pan, not baked” shadows, than traditional shadows. Good point!
I’ll have to go look at Cheri’s swatches and looks with the quad with the green. That’s disappointing to me if it’s a dull look. I will definitely not get any of these that I haven’t seen swatched etc.

Hi Lisa, I purchased n.4 yesterday. I didn’t like how the pink translated on CV. But I love the eyelook of Rebecca (notforprintbeauty). So bought the refill. I would have purchased also n.3 if it was available, but it wasn’t the case. So I’ll give my opinion soon… 😘

Maybe Prada Beauty has sold the rights to use that name on cosmetics to someone else & therefore it wouldn’t be at the Prada store. Gucci Beauty isn’t operated by Gucci either I believe it is owned elsewhere under license. Just a thought.
No, they told me the makeup like will be sold in some Prada stores. They decided to postpone the launch on Italy to next fall. Maybe because right now it’s summer holiday time… Who knows…
I’m waiting to see how people feel about the shadows after some of the hype dies down - so many new brands / reformulations and I don’t have the budget to get all the shadows

I'm also a bit disappointed, as it turned out this formula isn't that innovative after all these brands came out with it. And I feel like baked formula remains superior to "no metal pans" formula. I also didn't like how it looked on people demonstrating closeups of their eyelids. P.S. I totally get your frustration with Prada and not able to swatch their shadows in real life, though it's Milan based brand. I feel the same sometimes about Chanel living in France.
I agree with you about the formulas. I also prefer the baked one and you can see the difference in my swatches too! Notice how much smoother are the swatches from Guerlain baked eyeshadows compared to the others.
