HEAR ME OUT! I love this video and I love the simplicity of the message. I would say this though and this is not to discredit the attempt made by Drake. I don't think Drake introduced the element of house into the rnb and pop genre. He may have put the bug in people's ear but Beyonce came through and carried the conversation igniting a whole new era of house music for the next generation with Renaissance (which if you haven't heard by now...then...well...idk what to tell you lol) . From Break My Soul to now this by our Ponytail Princess house is making a comeback and is crossing over into new genres like hip hip (DRAKE) and RNB/POP (Queen Bey and Ari). Also things to highlight for deeper context: 1. The d**k she is riding is Ethan Slater's and you can read more about that controversary via google. 2. During her speaking part she is cleansing their energy because it was, as seen at the beginning of the video, negative and bad energy, hence why they ended up dancing at the end. Overall, the video is a reminder to live with reckless abandonment and live in your truth. 3. Some of the poses were references to her previous album cover if you look closely and compare the two which I thought was a very nice touch. 4. The overall video concept was paying homage to the amazing Paula Abdul's video "Cold Hearted" which I also thought was amazing as well her homage to Madonna's "Vogue". Just food for thought.
I can't articulate how much I love this song. I feel like I'm in heaven, enveloped in clouds and the power of love. Nothing can bring me down from this elation. I'm just simply floating so resolutely in the ethereality of her voice.♡♡♡ th-cam.com/video/skzhaSktpRE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=w4gnVaFhztLlb-mX
