That's a good comparison video Doug. The older Coke Cola kit has the chrome tree from the 40 Ford sedan delivery and the newer kit has the original 40 coupe kit chrome tree. Thank you for sharing this with us all. Take care and happy modeling. Don 😎
Why did I get a drivers door for some other car in my kit and I see the same part in both of your kits ? The part number isn’t mentioned on the layout sheets, is that an AMT thing coz I had the same on the 289 Cobra ?
I bet the original offering didn't have nearly as much flash as the current offering, mine is an absolute flash farm plus the chrome with rather thick. This project is a slow burn due to all of the cleaning up of every part.
Either kit would make a great build. Love the old 40 model cars. Have a great weekend buddy. Terry
Thanks
Great video! Thanks for the unboxing.
Thanks
I thought the pale-green tint on the optional windows was odd until I realized that's old Coke-bottle-green!
Thanks for watching
Nice unboxing.👍
Thanks
Great video and thanks for sharing. I thought all the Coke kits were molded in Red or Yellow and the Chrome tree differences are good to take note of!
Thanks
Very cool kits and nice comparison sir
Thanks

Must be amt thing
I believe it's the rear door for the 40 sedan delivery kit. The two kits are basically the same with the exception of a few parts.
