- Mental Metal Detecting Whats Down The Hole. In this video we find a hidden well and we do a little magnet fishing to see if there is anything laying on the bottom. I should say we tried to magnet fish. You'll see what I mean. We also do a little, searching, exploring, and metal detecting. I stumbled into a pocket spill of coins. Greg discovers something very unusual that ends up pretty awesome. We had a great experience and hope you enjoy it.

Mentalmetal and Greg, great finds. Greg seems to have a dry sense of humor. I'm sure that he would help you if you fell in the well even though it didn't sound like he really cared one way or the other. "Down in the Mountain" sounds like people becoming one with nature and just relaxing while enjoying the great outdoors.

Megan Smith These ones hit in the low 70s but the one I found yesterday hit higher like 77-80 depends on the soil.

Great find on the coin spill.Even that ketchup top was cool.That tip on the homesite is great.Never thought about that.Been digging a bunch of trash so far but that first spill is not to far off I hope.Just picked up an 11" DD for the F2.Good luck and HH.Keep the vids coming.
damoose1829 Thanks its a great spot that hasn't been picked over too much but there is a lot of trash (as Greg pointed out) :) You'll do well with the 11'' however you'll do better with the smaller coil in trashy areas. If you notice, Greg was using the bigger coil on the AT Pro which is why he had a hard time. Good luck let me know how it goes!

+Pierre Ferreira some of those small magnets can be awfully powerful! i've got one that's only 1 inch in diameter and it'll easily pick up a 12 inch cast iron frying pan!
now personally, besides the magnet, i'd be lowering a camera down there too. there could be 100 pounds of gold and silver down there won't stick to that magnet, lol. ;)

its a shadow casted over a tiny branch that looks as if its moving do to him moving the camera, hope this helps !

Sometimes... just depends I've had lime disease twice but not by being in the woods. Was bitten twice in my own backyard. I usually have bug spray to keep them off when i'm out hunting.

+ZUG STEINER Hi Zug thanks for the comment. The hole was an old hand dug well that was used during the late 1800s into the early 1900s. The magnet in the video is a small rare earth magnet. I get mine here: www.kjmagnetics.com

MentalMetal They should have set off the metal detector just like any other metal, but it just looks like a black rock. They are also always magnetic so a magnet will stick right to it.
