@ChristyTinkerbell experience another form of dance I would have otherwise been deprived of, and in that respect, I'm so glad he did. Tight Eyez is the bomb and I've watched him on ABDC w/awe and respect. Without the likes of lil c though, I would have never gotten to see someone like Russell dance or be appreciated and respected for this type of dance! Isn't that really an awesome thing? I'm honored I got to be a part of watching it become a success and recognized.
You know, i'm not gonna lie, the first time I saw krumping i was like , "What the f.......". But now i'm a big fan of it, it requires a rare blend of creativity, athleticism and rhythm to be a good krumper
well, they say that the greatest art is never appreciated until the artist is dead. krump does it for me, its all i need. god bless stay up even if krump aint your game bro
theres a couple of vids on here explaining the basics of krump. once u c the basics you see it completely differently. also krump has evolved over the past 8 yrs. there are sooo many styles of krump like bboy krumpers.
@ClosterphobiA thanks for the reply and the info you've shared. yeah i saw Lil c from rize and Ive always wondered why he claimed that he created it. also I've recently started krumping and I've found it hard to find some more in depth history and where to start (youtube tutorials, krump 1.0, etc) well anywayz thanks again for sharing
Interesting how people put something down when they have no knowledge of its history, where it was born, what the movements mean, why taking a shirt off is not about "stripping" but about shedding a metaphorical oppression. This dancing is primal, yes, but also spiritual and intellectual...each gesture, every move has a purpos. a meaning. To judge it without knowledge of the form is to embarrass yourself. Krumping is one of the more powerful artistic expressions I've seen in my lifetime.
@ChristyTinkerbell I do agree with you on Lil C catapulting krump into the spot light of reality TV. I think Tight Eyez & the Street Kingdom pushed it even more into the door when they did ABDC. It's funny because I've been krump dancing way before the Street Kingdom got onto ABDC, so when people see me labbin at the park or where ever, they're like, "you got that from street kingdom!" lol. I was like, "no man, I've been dancin way before SK got onto ABDC." I got to meet Tight Eyez here in S.A.
@ClosterphobiA I know what you mean, but I look at it like all other forms of dance. There are TONS of people w/serious RAW TALENT in all forms of dance. However, if you combine that raw talent with a professional choreographer, it's often magic! I understand Tight Eyez might not have wanted it to become commercialized, but Lil C helped catapult Krump in the spotlight, showing everyone about this new amazing form of dance. He choreographs it well and I'm personally glad he did bc now I get to
Well, I go to Columbia, and I can say that I'm definitely getting educated. I'm a dancer, classically trained. I can't do it, but I can appreciate the difficulty of moving one's body in such a manner. Just b/c a person dances aggressively, does not suggest that the person is aggressive. Most people have dark feelings, it's only human nature. Some people inappropriately express it through violence; others express it through forms of communication and art.
I've never seen Lil C look this buck. But I've seen him use the same moves in the same order almost everywhere. He always keeps using moves in the past and he calls himself creator of krump. Please Tigh Eyez style Changes everyday and is still ahead of the game.
Its krump terms that you are at a state where you are a good krumper. Then you could go from that to getting amped when you are really good, and after that you are just in the spirit realm where you get so buck that you just don't know what your doing anymore(don't be afraid about that its in a positive way). Christ Up!!!
@Nauttos Emotion and the ability to use your body to convey that passion and emotion. Great dancers aren't "great" just bc of technique..Great dancers use their entire bodies in a way that transforms music into another art form (dance). They literally "feel" music inside every pore of their body. It's the same thing as music, some people prefer rock, some rap, some classical, etc. Does it mean one is better than the other? No...it's the way music makes you feel inside.
@ClosterphobiA are you talking bout now as in 2011 or back then when stomp the yard came out? after some research and reading your comment tell me is krump kings and street kingdom the same thing? are they even still around?
He didn't sell out... The others just refuse to make a better life for their family by staying in the hood. I hated it when some (just a couple) Kings of Krump started talking shit about him selling out when they were just too stupid to do it themselves. He's spreading the movement in a positive way. He's half the reason people are searching TH-cam for "krump" and becoming fans of Tight Eyez.
Most people listen to the music and think they of beat, but they dont know that they are dancing to a part of the music like the base rythem or the other sounds that have their own rythem in this music piece
Theres are difference between just spazing out and krumping. You have to be able to harness that so called "craziness" and put it into a movement that can take years to fully master.
I liked there transitions to one another. why do people say they be off beat. they only thing iz they juz constantly moving but they still on beat lol. Its so easy to see. I use to play that game bust a groove alot they on beat lol.
LOL I remember this used to be a thing...
I can't wait to spread weird nostalgia around my office in the morning 😂
Just saw your comment. How'd they like it at the office.
Krump still alive and better
I love this dance. Even if your not preforming it, just watching it makes you feel hype and when it's over you feel stress free.
I'd watch this video so much as a kid, this is how I actually got into krumping. GOOD OLD TIMES
I love seeing the professionals doing the style so we can see how it's suppose to be.
they are expressing themselves. I can see how much they try to express each other through moving. thats true art :)

damn I wish I knew how to dance this, this shit is tight, its like you are mad but you are controllin youself at the same time it's great!!
damn... the beat is sick..
There is no 1 form of dance. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't an art form. If it's not for you move along.
theres a couple of vids on here explaining the basics of krump. once u c the basics you see it completely differently. also krump has evolved over the past 8 yrs. there are sooo many styles of krump like bboy krumpers.
Guy in the white T and red shoes had the best moves.
