I'm not a parent but I've done daycare with infants and toddlers and I was a full time sitter for a set of toddler twins and an infant (I'm also a current nursing student)... I think the last nap ending at 4:10 and bed time beginning at 6:45 might not be enough awake time for them to sleep a good stretch... It's possible they are taking their "bed time" as a nap time and that could be apart of your struggle at night.

When you were saying grace before dinner, Emma’s little “amen” was so sweet oh my goodness
I see so much gentle advice to cut down nap times and especially the late afternoon nap. I’ve wanted so badly to tell you that if they are only napping 20-30 minutes (a couple videos ago) they are getting too much sleep. When I raised my kids they took two naps during the day when they were babies, one around 10:30am and the other around 2pm. They’ll sleep for about an hour and a half. When they get a little older, they naturally cut one of those naps out. I didn’t want to be too opinionated because you’re not doing anything wrong, it just might be helpful if you gave less naps and they were more tired at night. You guys are great parents and I know you’ll try new things until it works. Love your beautiful family!

They may not be awake long enough between their last nap and bedtime which would be why they are unsettled at night. Wake them at 330 and put down at 630/7pm.

I would LOVE to see a 24hr routine! I've been curious about what time the boys generally nap at.
Its so interesting to see how different babies can be! My son will be 3m next week and he has been a good sleeper since I was pregnant (to the point where he ended up in the NICU because he was too sleepy to breathe when he was born lol). He usually goes down around 730/8pm and doesn't wake until 3-5am!

I always remember family meals together, as a family. The boys look so content after their bath, and Emma is all smiles during and after hers!! I love to hear her laugh!! She is soooo sweet!!

Could the boys be using the 645 bedtime as another nap? I know if I put my 4 month old to bed anytime before 8-830 he treats it as another nap and then he’s up for at least 2 hours before he’s ready to sleep again.
My 4 month baby is like that, when he sleeps around 06:30 he wakes up like is another nap, and then around 8:30 or 9:00 he sleeps all night and wakes up every 2 hours for feeding( sorry for my English 🙁 🙏
I think the reason the boys don't sleep at night is because they are napping at 4 and then go down for bed at 6:30. I think if you tried a different schedule things would go much more smoothly.
yeah I was thinking the same thing! Or even keeping them up later at night so they are more tired when they go to bed.
They’re only 5 months and 2 hours is usually the max amount of wake time before a nap or bed at that age

Maybe cut out that last nap or change the whole nap schedule . Maybe they aren’t getting enough time before bed time to get properly tired. Just a thought.

Singing the lullaby from Lady and the Tramp melted my heart. It's my favourite Disney movie and I have always dreamed of singing that lullaby to my kiddos one day. So so so sweet.

Lol I still have a clear plastic table cloth over the table at dinner time, my youngest is 17 and will still spill something🤪 Super cute Bo just laying over the couch ignoring the hoo haa going on around him. 🌸🐨🌸

Man 6:45 is early for bed. How long do they sleep in mornings and how many times they wake up ?
My 2 year old and 3 month old twins all go to bed at 7. One of the twins wakes up at 7 the other one wakes up at 9. My 2 year old wakes up at 8.
They are all pretty cranky if they go to bed late.
Not that early for a baby! I put mine down at 7pm and she wakes up around 7am
Branda Stout hi there yes same I did that my son went down at 7 pm and slept the whole night until 7am ! That’s how baby’s grow when they sleep 💤 It’s pretty normal for babies to sleep for 12 hours at night that’s when they grow the most ! I don’t know how Rachelle does it bless her she must be exhausted with having to get up and do all those feeds through the night ! They will be toddlers before they know it so it won’t last forever ! I just love babies ❤️🙏
Our 9 month old twins go to bed at 6:30 and wake at 6:30. It's just what works for our family. It's not early for babies, they need lots of sleep !
My 5 month old goes to sleep around 7, he tries going down earlier sometimes but I do my best to keep him up until 7. Once he went down at 5:30 and around 11 he was up trying to play. 😂

I vividly remember reading that same pete the cat book a few years ago when I was in kindergarten!
Y’all are such good parents and I love how y’all work so good together with the kids! Just for a suggestion I work at a day care and the babies normally get there at 7 they nap at 10 and we only let them sleep at the most an hour and a half most of them wake up at 11:30 then they go back down at 2:45 after lunch and play time, then they normally wake up at 4! And normally bed time is at 10!Maybe you could try a different schedule but just to help you and the boys sleep at night! Or try later bed times for the boys!

Maybe drop the last nap? We also found that overnight diapers make a huge difference in sleep! This is our routine for our son (he'll be 6 months on November 3rd):
8:00 wake up
9:30 am bottle
10:30-12 first nap
12:30 lunch (bottle and a couple ounces of solids)
2:00 bottle
3:00-5:00 second nap
6:00 dinner (bottle and more solids)
7:30 bottle
8:00 bed time
Usually he only wakes up twice!

I think for Halloween unless you already decided costumes for the kids wizard of oz characters emma being dorothy i would always do bath between 3 and 4 anyway when mine was a baby just to get it done

When my kids were really little I used to fill the bath up just enough so the babies could lie down in there but their faces wouldn't get covered, they'd lay around in there and kick around and have the best time while the toddler got to sit in there with them. Could be worth a try?I just used the normal bath, then I could shove all three in there together and it was all done and dusted :)
