I am now a fan! Thank you for such a great tribute to Tom Petty and Mudcrutch. Hope you come through KC. I will definitely come support you. KnuckleheadsKC.
Been listening to this rendition for a year. Thanks guys for turning me on to it. Tom's passing has opened up my aperture to the total of his extensive library. I wish I would have learned this while he was still here :(
Absolutely beautiful cover, guys! You nailed it! Also, both guitarists are excellent singers! Tom Petty saw potential in you all and damn was he right! Great band! :)
Heard this song on Tom Petty Radio SiriusXM, freak, I had to play it again, love this version, much better than Mudcrutch. I had a had a little difficulty looking for it because I thought it read The Searchers, I even reached out to their associates and they replied back with a long comment, so now I need to write back and explain. So glad I found you guys and hope you get that album out.
Nice job! Tom Petty would love this version, as likely do all the guys in Mudcrutch. I recently started following your band because of the Petty link. You just answered the question of whether "The Shelters" name came from the Shelter Records studio name. Yup...

Very NICELY DONE! The Late Great Tom Petty would be proud.
1:59 damn he sounds like Bob Dylan! I bet they nail a could cover a Traveling Wilburys song!
💜💔💙
Next month
See you later, Tom
What makes more sense to you, that we probably come from an Eternal Mother Goddess or an Eternal Father God?
Somebody tell me that the one guy doesn't sound exactly like Billy Corgan
:)
:)
:)
Base player made this one good
These boys look so grown up here, but so young on stage. Weird.
VERY cool cover.....not into that bass sound though.
Huh not even tin out here🫒
Pretty impressive. Dunno if Tom would ablige all this nonsense. The camera work? You are just making money over a corpse.
