they did, in fact, bring enough Shambling Mounds for the rest of the class

When you replay this encounter, you should not push yr party too far out into the open. If you look at the scene at 43.04 and where Krevish now stands, that is not great at all, too many enemies can surround you even at this point. Try and funnel them in peace meal and stand yr party to the point where Archadues stands, give krevish as many arrows as possible so he can shoot from distance. The rest should be a little easier on yr slightly depleted force.
I've not played this game, but this is what i would try and do. :)
