We're shaking things up with the Glorious Purpose tournament by announcing a Special Tag Team match where both members of the winning team will advance to the next round for the Alpha Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.
Long time tag team and multiple time tag team title holders "Killswitch" Blake Curtis and "Revenant" Kris Law, collectively known as Conflict Axiom, gain a decided advantage when they take on one half of perennial fan-favourite tag team Raw Beef and the Supercharged luchadore sensation.
With his brother on the injured list, Rex Pelman makes his foray into singles competition looking to bring glory back to the family. Valido, no stranger to battling the odds, looks to cement himself as a main event talent by going all the way and winning the coveted Heavyweight gold for the first time in his career.
All four men are no strangers to each other having collided many times in multiple variations at our previous Pipeworks Market events (see TH-cam for full matches!) with all four men never managing to gain a decided advantage against their adversaries. Pelman and Valido, not to be counted out, hold a big win against the supervillain supergroup at December to Dismember Day 2 as part of the huge 8-Man tag team main event.
Now, at Glorious Purpose on February 10th, the two sides can finally settle the score by eliminating their rivals from the tournament in one fell swoop. Can Pelman and Valido work together once again to clean up the field from arguably the two most dangerous competitors? Or will Conflict Axiom once again prove why they're not only two of the most formidable singles competitors in Australia today but also one of the country's greatest tag teams?
