I finally have my minimal Arsenal of prospecting equipment. Modular sluice, wetsuit with full face snorkel and pans , shovel, a few buckets and sniffer bot. I just have to pick and choose whether I got to work or take a day off and bring my lil boy to the river( sultan or skykomish). been wanting to join the mining clubs. Been to the prospect show in Monroe when they been there for the past few years. Barely missed dakota fred the last time but ended up with signed pans and pictures.

I just got back from Dayton trying to bag some venison (no luck) and was looking at all the little rivers and creeks there around the Snake and Tucannon rivers thinking they might hold something from before things got dammed up river on the Snake; would need to be careful on Tucannon, since it still gets salmon run egg-beds.
I also joined towards the end of the month. I got about the same gold in the can and I also recieved the daily nugget give away. It weighs .258 ozt. or 8.02 grams.

Closest claim is 2 hours away actually in WA. and I've only scored enough there not to get skunked. The 2 further South ( Brice and Quartzville) are good claims but heavily worked and being respectful wouldn't be productive. lol I've noticed I still tend to go where I'm comfortable in nooks and crevices in and around the Mountains around Northern Oregon Cascades.,where gold is small but alot of it if you put the math in AND actually Prospect. You know more than myself. It's in almost every creek, alot are spotty at best but it's there. On the Clackamas, One bend had 11 specs in 1 pan, 2 others had 4 to 6 . Next bend, 3 different spots , nothing. Lots of drop offs it appears. If you could dredge here.... I'm a rambler....sorry (*generaly speaking, just make sure your not on someone's property)😉 There are a few that could possibly own the bank and have posted signs.

What is Richard Stout up in a lifetime member and they never did anything like for me matter of fact once you become a lifetime member you should have to pay any more unless you go join the the his brothers I belong to both of them cost me a lot of money and never got nothing out of it except paying more money and paying more money so I stay with a keep wanting me to pay maintenance fees and I never go to their properties so why should I have to pay maintenance fees that you know what you didn't say anything about that so I don't know what to tell you are you going to give him the money because I've already left I member so you have a nice day and keep on panty have a nice day

No raw gold in Florida lol. Buuuut you've got some of the best beaches in the world to find jewelry. I would get a good metal detector if I were you.
