Calibration is extremely important in gas analyzers. Congratulations to FD for its good conduct based on good engineering.

Thank you for your positive comments. Yes, trying to send the message out especially now with VERY cheap and dangerous products on Amazon. Most people don't know what calibration means so we are trying our best to make a video to educate the public about carbon monoxide detector calibration and co-meter operation and things to watch out for.

I am going to get a CO detector for my car and for my house. For my car, what would be the difference between the Forensics you tested here and the Forensics car and aircraft unit which is about $40 more?

Have you tested the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor? Wondering how accurate it is for low level CO?

No we have not and to be honest, I have been thinking of testing those "air quality" monitors that are now getting very popular. Will do it within one month! great recommendation.

Any updates on this? Still thinking of purchasing one to keep near my furnace to pick up low level readings

no actually, they all have electrochemical sensors, hence why all of them have a limited lifespan between 2-3 years.
