I am looking forward to see what Mayor Keshia Lance Bottoms does next. As someone that back Joe Biden from the beginning I do wonder if she will get a job in the administration.

Yay! Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms is the epitome of black girl magic and innovative leadership! It was a tough job/term but we should remember there was also a madman in the Georgia governors mansion.

Among Mayor Bottoms’ notable accomplishments to date include the establishment of the City’s first fully-staffed Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the appointments of a LGBTQ Affairs Coordinator and a Human Trafficking Fellow, the citywide elimination of cash bail bond, the closure of the Atlanta City Detention Center to ICE detainees, and the rollout of the most far-reaching financial transparency platform in the City’s history - Atlanta’s Open Checkbook.
Did she stop crime in Atlanta? No. Did she find a cure for cancer? No. With that said, it is our job to hold those we vote in office accountable. Mayor Bottoms did what she could and continues to speak up for the betterment of every resident in Atlanta.

Her city has turned into Gotham. She's a failed mayor, that's nothing to admire. As we continue to elect unqualified people simply because they're black, we'll continue to have cities mimicking Iraq and Afghanistan. I overheard two white women on a military base near me call Fayetteville NC, Vietnam. A total change is needed in Democrat run cities laden with festering crime. I'm an independent voter and voted for Biden only to get rid of Trump but, it's very clear to me Democrats are horrible leaders and don't govern well.
If you live in The Cleveland/Akron area, please vote for Nina Turner for Congress! Talk to friends, family, neighbors, and acquaintances! Tell them Nina is the real deal and can't be bought. She is fighting for the people! It’s neck and neck. We need every vote! Early Voting is going on now! Election day is August 3rd!

professor Karen Hunter I really love your show but I was disappointed about the softball questions that you asked Maryor Bottoms I live in Atlanta, Ga she done nothing to reduce the crimes in Atlanta, Ga. I'm personally glad she's leaving so she can get a job with President Joe Biden administration because she is not for us in Atlanta Like Dr Carr says we must hold black leaders accountable to as well as white leaders
You can be. I don't invite people on to grill them. I want to know them and learn about them. Now, if they come on with an agenda, that's a whole other story. But I'm playing a very long game here.

The Honorable Mayor has valuable experience in the trenches... that Knarrative could use as case study assignments that would take one hour to complete like CEU's. They could be graded by Knarrative citizens in an open source way like Wikipedia

Literacy. water management, nursing homes, online trade schools, local business startups for supply chain and manufacturing, homeless solutions, citizen patrols, taxation ,building permits ,police policy inc insurance liability and residency requirements, voter mobilization legal issues,.... etc
