    As always, feel free to ask questions. Or, maybe you have some tips to share on warehouse productivity?

      Sir, what software computer skills one should possess to work in logistics and supply chain management job ?

    • @supplychainsecrets
      @supplychainsecrets  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@punisher5986 General analysis skills rather than specific software. Advanced Excel skills are always good, but increasingly things like Power BI too.

    Magic Bullet Four Things in a WH
    a) People b) Products
    c) Property d) Assets
    We can FOCUS on a & b points to get visibility, accuracy, productivity, and safety.
    Engineeringly, we can set continuous and discrete metrics to understand XYZ performance and pick accuracy to deliver significant results.
    On the flip side, Benchmarking is a fabulous option for analyzing overall performance with the help of descriptive analytics.
    Hit - Pareto Principle is a kind of dynamite. Where it applies, business things blossom.

      Nice perspective. Though I might add e) Process.

    This channel is marvelous. It gives us the best insights. I'm a Logistics teacher in Brazil.
    I would like to know - if you don't mind - which tools are used to measure warehouse productivity as said in the video.

    Sir thank you for a articulate explanation can you tell what is the most defining difference between logistics management and SCM. Where do this differ

      They are really all levels of the same thing. A common understanding is: Distribution is about the outbound storage and transport of finished goods. Logistics encompasses more as in inventory management and handling of raw materials. And finally Supply Chain embraces more, such as purchasing, procurement and the management of external suppliers. I would not get too worried about the precise definitions though. If you google it you'll mind many variations.
