those custom LP ibanez are the best LP i ever played i have 2 one 1978 and 1980, those guitars are killers, so good, i do not have white just black and sunburst so that one sir PixxyLixxx you have is great looking and so good sounding as all Ibanez are , that is why i love them.

That yellow RG550 is awesome.. i bought one of those back in the very early 90´s, but a pink one, they was available in different colors, it was an expensive guitar when they first came out.. but an awesome guitar.. i miss my RG550 sometimes.

Yeah, you can get some fantastic deals from GC used! I got my Gretsch Electrmatic5120 for like $445($750 guitar), my Korean Dean Cadillac Select for $345($600), & my Taylor 114ce Mexi for $530($800), & my Zakk Wylde Epi Bullseye for$395($600) all from my local store, not even online. Whenever I go there I head straight for the used rack, & like ya said, ya gotta pounce! Love that Ibanez LP. Definitely want one of those! Think I only bought 2 guitars this year. Rock on Steve!
Awesome video, I bought that same exact RG550 Ibanez in 1989 same color from Sam Ash and ended up trading it for a early 90 Ibanez EX 3700 which I still have kinda wished that I never made that trade now Have a great new year and keep crankin out the videos.
Two of these guitars stick out from the 2014 allotment, for me personally. The red "The Strat" and the black Gilmour style Strat. The others, while they have attributes in their own right, aren't quite my cup of tea. But hey! That's what makes the world go 'round! As always, cool video! Really, really enjoyed your 2014 videos, and looking forward to see what 2015 brings!

Oh man that Ibanez les paul I used to have one just like that when I was 14 /16 years old I got it cause slash and guns n roses were out with appetite for destruction. I really got to check out some of the RGs though they look like fun
If only guitar No2 had guitar No3 color ( or colour ), I would pick guitar No2, curious time when looking like a Les Paul was all the rage. I forgot about the under 300 club you do with guitars..thats neat
2014 is a special year for me; it's the year I got my first electric. I was on Craigslist and found a Ibanez Gio (don't know exact model. Pickup configuration is SSH if that helps. Would show a picture if I could :/) and an Ibanez GTA10 11 watt AMP for a grand total of 50 dollars. That's not a joke. Now it's not perfect; the volume dial on the guitar is shot, stuck in a permanent 5-ish, and the tone dial could be doing better. Otherwise the conditions of the guitar and AMP are pretty good. Sorry to ramble on, but like I said: very special year for me :)

Man. First off. Love your videos. Second. How are you getting that (for lack of better term) noise where you run your picking hand along the string while your fretting hand does a hammer on pull off combination. I've tried figured it out and for some reason can't recreate it.
Haha nice collection ya got there...traded my ibanez rg260fm for a squire strat and cash...bought myself a strat from this luthier for $250...traded my squire strat for another one which had a tele neck but strat body...sold that and just bought myself an amp and a ep boost haha

The other day, on guitar center used. I saw a squire vintage modified , I know it was because of the spray gloss headstock and kluson tuner style for 99.00 excellent condition marked as squire standard. I called to be sure and the guy said yup it's squire and 99.00. I should have gotten it. Was gone next day. Lol. This has happened many times. I think these managers are off the street with basic training and no real eye. That's good. Lol for us.
Pixxy , thanks for sharing your experience with guitar center used. I was going to purchase something from them used. I was concerned about having to pay first. The main reason I didn't buy is that they didnt seem to be able to negotiate with the other store for a better price. I try to build a rapport with the same salesman. Please let us know if there are any other tricks for getting gear on Guitar Center used... Thanks
was wondering as I stated in the previous video of the rg550, I am restoring one, and would love to hear more about the mechanics, how to correctly tune it, also there is 5 spots for springs, I currently have two, I see you have three, should I use two springs, three, or buy all 5 and use all 5, thanx bro, and keep rocking

The Ibanez Les Paul is my favorite. It reminds me of Randy Rhoads' Les Paul.
