fun fact: this is *now the second* most a grizzly has ever scored in a game Ja Morant dropped 47 in game two vs the Jazz on May 26th, 2021. Records are meant to be broken.
I used to hate seeing mike go off like this while we still lose. These were the days that proved i was a real grizzlies fan. Never turned my back on them
Mike Miller was a luxury player that would have been a borderline all star if he had a slightly better point guard and a allstar big in his prime a little longer.
Mike Miller was a tripple threat stud in his prime when healthy .Besides him being a very underrated passer with his IQ and dead on accuracy beyond 3pt range eventually woke alot of GMs up .
He used to have so much more mobility... 5 years already and a lot of injuries that fucked up his knees, but in his prime I think he was a top 20 SG in the league. I'm glad he had the chance to help the Heat in the Finals and that he got his ring :)
Yeah, this is way back before his back injury. Spo mentioned that Miller is hunched all the time because of the injury so he looks like he's 6'4. I read that he's okay now and can stand properly now at 6'8.
dude he has had multiple knee surgeries, back problems, etc. this was when he was healthy and even not able to stand up straight these past two years he helped us win the title hitting 7 of 8 threes and playing great defense.
dude that's what i thought too lol then the boy goes off for 7/8 for 3s in the game clinching victory for the Heat against the Thunder in 2012 and then made a 3 in the past Finals against the Spurs without one of his shoes on lol! My boi Miller shoulda never gotten amnestied but it's for the best Heat Nation!
People forgot about this Mike Miller....but he reminded ALL of us why hes on the Heat roster. When ppl would talk about the Heat bench i would just laugh bc I know who Miller, Jones, etc are.

before he got hurt the first year the starting lineup was suppose to be dwade at pg with bron doing the bulk of the ballhandling miller at sg bron at sf haslem at pf and bosh at c miller got hurt in training camp and they inserted chalmers
A dream come true. I took the night off & took my 3 little sons to that game. The Warriors pull one out. Was in awed by Miller's torching performance. Well that was Warrior "free Warrior" McGregor golf hat nite. Still have it . A memento of M Miller's stellar night!
this was while back so he aged and he is injured now... also we dont need him to do anything but rebound and shoot the three because we have a big 3 that can drive really well ... when you have a roster like the heat... where everyone can score double digit points, its hard to average 20 points a game... thats why its impressive lebron still averages 27 points
Azubuike, Pietrus, Ellis, and Captain Jack were all victims during this historic event. The Grizz didn't get the win but oh well. Mike Miller went in on 'em.
Chris bosh didnt lose no where near how much talent mile miller lost. Chris bosh is still an all star and would have been on the usa team. His numbers went down because he has two top five best players in nba on his team!
5 years older from then and he's ran into injuries. its a shame. if he were still in the same form, miami woulda had a white james harden. still won the ring tho haha. 7 threes in game 5.
very underrated player... in his prime he was a great asset to have with that size and scoring ability

If miller never had so many injuries he could have been a lot better maybe even and all star remember rookie of the year

These Warriors teams routinely got lit up for 30, 40, 50 by guys like Miller, Kevin Martin, Ray Allen, Brandon Roy, Jason Terry, etc.
clutchcity25 well all those guys were excellent players except maybe Mike
Gasol and Miller sure did deserve those rings !
So happy hes going back to the Grizzlies, there isn't enough free agents that go to teams like the Grizzlies, Bulls and Spurs
This is pure awsomeness. Shows how good of a shooter he really is and how well he finds comfortable shots.
I love Pau Gasol and Mike Miller !!

he has a bad back and his knees are shot. its a surprise he can even be out on the court. he's just a shooter for the rest of his career.
he was a great scorer back then...

Injuries ruined his career. He used to be more then an incredible three point shooter.
Thank mike for the seven out of eight on 2012finals
Even though Grizzlies lost, that was his night and whoever scored 30s and 40s.
Dude use to be sooooooo nice. When the Heat signed Miller I thought they could have been getting this guy.
I'm here after Luke Kennard broke Mike's 3 point record tonight with 10 3's made. Go Grizz :)
People forgot about this Mike Miller....but he reminded ALL of us why hes on the Heat roster. When ppl would talk about the Heat bench i would just laugh bc I know who Miller, Jones, etc are.
23 Points 7/8 From three without a back. In the NBA Finals, to win the NBA Finals. And I lol at this comment.

Mike miller goin to okc hell yea we got it this year
before he got hurt the first year the starting lineup was suppose to be dwade at pg with bron doing the bulk of the ballhandling miller at sg bron at sf haslem at pf and bosh at c miller got hurt in training camp and they inserted chalmers
He was very versatile when was younger
Edit* They had Miller, Gasol, Shane battier(Later traded for Rudy Gay),and Lorenzon Wright, Oh and Jason Williams
Memphis had a pretty sick lineup at that time man...
Spurs won the championship against the Cavs in this year.
my exemple , best 3 point shooter ever
richardson, monta ellis, joe johnson, stephen jackson...warriors were beast back then
What about the last 9 years?
@@LeGoat-23 lol i made the comment in 2011 when curry was averaging 14 and 5. The past 9 years have been historical
@@vincelunceford i'm just asking for your opinion
@@vincelunceford btw i'm glad you're still alive but 9 years ago is 2013
you should come back to the grizzlies! we miss you more!
wow now i remember he use to play for grizzlies
If he stays healthy close to 85% thats a huge plus for us
they had a prime Gasol and Mike Miller... and they made almost no noise in the playoffs....
if u mean about three, he did it in the final game 5
Mike miller was once a very good all around player ......so Dissapointed the heat used the amnesty option on him
still a good performer for them
I'm glad we have proof b/c I cannot even dream of a day that Mike Miller put up 45
A dream come true. I took the night off & took my 3 little sons to that game. The Warriors pull one out. Was in awed by Miller's torching performance. Well that was Warrior "free Warrior" McGregor golf hat nite. Still have it . A memento of M Miller's stellar night!
Fuck yeah love this guy
yep and he still was awesome against okc at game 5 , he basically won heat the game with 7/7 threes
he sure did game 7
6:01 he's lovin it! hell yeah!
7/8 from 3 pointers IN THE LAST GAME TO WIN THE TITLE
Hall of famer
Can u believe this is the grizzlies highest point total ever
this was while back so he aged and he is injured now... also we dont need him to do anything but rebound and shoot the three because we have a big 3 that can drive really well ... when you have a roster like the heat... where everyone can score double digit points, its hard to average 20 points a game... thats why its impressive lebron still averages 27 points
MIKE MILLER THE KILLER!
miller going back to memphis >
Miller the killer!
How do U let the warriors to go on a 10 to 4 run with two and a half minutes left!! Sorry had to point it out
injuries can take a real toll on a player
Azubuike, Pietrus, Ellis, and Captain Jack were all victims during this historic event. The Grizz didn't get the win but oh well. Mike Miller went in on 'em.
ya it used to me pau was drafted to grizz then marc to lakers, but they traded eachother
Pau Gasol on memphis? Did he play on the same team as his brother?
WHEN MIKE HAD A BACK.
HOwd they loose?
its miller time
Cuz he was a bench player in Miami and like the 5th option on the Heat
How did Memphis blow the lead with 2 minutes to go?
pau AND marc gasol played for memphis?
And now he's a bench warmer for the heat, such a shame
Mike Miller would've dropped 60 today.
The gasol brothers would arguably mak the BEST front court
thats my baby!!;))
like game 5 once miller gets going good luck
This is long before steph curry. Yet people say he changed the game. Lol
Marc never PLAYED for the lakers,he was drafted by them but didn't come to the NBA until his rights were traded to Memphis.
He did yesterday..... and he also has back problems.
still dangerous from outside tho. i wish he could be healthy
dam miller was a beast in his prime to bad he cant do it anymore if only lol the heat wouldn't loose
bro he had 45 points in the okc series combind
Chris bosh didnt lose no where near how much talent mile miller lost. Chris bosh is still an all star and would have been on the usa team. His numbers went down because he has two top five best players in nba on his team!
If the Heat had a young Miller and Battier then they would be MUCH more dangerous
Reggie back on this game
cus this was 5 years ago hes rly beat up
This the believe warriors idk if you guys know it or not but they were pretty good
Was this the year GS beat number 1# seed Mavs?
on thursday he did
The Best white 3pshooter!
Pau Gasol was in the Grizzlies?
were you not watching Miami vs OKC game 5?
This is the We Believe Warriors right?
ya but Shane to me has never been a game changer to me but I didnt know they had Williams or Wright
hes been struggling with back problems u can obviously see it when hes out there on the court always holdin his back grimacing in pain
i was just gunna say that!
His injuries
5 years older from then and he's ran into injuries. its a shame. if he were still in the same form, miami woulda had a white james harden. still won the ring tho haha. 7 threes in game 5.
just about to say the same thing
that memphis team should've stayed together a little longer, who knows where they'd be now with gasol, gay, miller, conley, mayo and a deep bench
I loled when he said beidrins has 11
they keep talking bout him like he is a superstar........smh
Mike Miller played INSIDE??
8 haters really? Did he beat y’all back in HS or something?
1 Top 5.
@King Beezy seventh you forgot BIRDMAN BIRDMAN
I thought I was going to get rick roll'd
Look at Game 5 of the 2012 finals, and tell me he don't play like that for the heat.
hes older
