One of the reasons this mass is so brief is that there is no Gloria or Credo - which are the longest sections of any Mass. Did Lotti not compose a Gloria or Credo for this mass?

He did! I am actually going to sing this missa this easter with my choir :) It was very hard to get a good edition of the music papers (one of our basses actually tried to contact an archive in Venice or something to get a facsimile 😂) We are now studying with a set edited by Ben Byram-Wigfield that includes Gloria and Credo. Also i heard that during easter, the Gloria is not allowed to be sung until resurrection sunday... not sure tho'... would need to ask a practising catholic
