I sang this in high school, 1987. There were only seven of us. I was the lone baritone/bass. I can't believe how much of it I still remember. I'm getting goose bumps! Beautiful!
I sang this with my church when I was 15 or 16 but I remember the Kyrie part being way faster. I also was the youngest one of the choir and the least experienced and I remember it being quite a challenge but I loved it. We had so much fun during rehearsals

Esta versión del Miserere de Allegri es la más expresiva que yo he conocido. Fantástico. Bellísimo. El Viernes de Dolores próximo lo cantaré en la Iglesia de Las Calatravas (barroco guapo) en Madrid a las 19 h. con una coro Gregoriano y otro de Cámara mas el mío grande.¡ Expectante!
Eternal Life No he didn’t. Haydn wrote 14 masses; apart from two teenage efforts and one incomplete work written in a polyphonic Palestrina style, the other 11 are all worth hearing, and are all often performed in churches, cathedrals (not just Catholic ones) and concert halls around the world.
