Omg the hair tuck jaja. I loved how the crew was just flabbergasted at Odysseus' action. Also, your art is scrumptious 😫 i love how the sirens are designed and how their powers wre portrayed here
1:15 Hahaha the presentation using ÷ instead of + he's so bad at math 😂 also I love how Ody is being a silly simp with sirenope and the crew side eyeing him. Love your take on this!
Oh my, the moments under water are amazing! Beautiful art and I LOVE the fish bits shown under the surface and that we see the sirens being caught by the nets and all!
1:23: Almost looks like she actually feels bad! There are so many moments in this animation that I wanna talk about and that I adore, but i'm gonna cut it short so I'm not writing a whole page. You've done a wonderful job with this animation!!! Keep up the great work!
I would've read the whole page twice haha thank you so much! I wanted the siren to express some empathy, so the contrast between Suffering and Different Beast hits harder and you can see the monster in Odysseus
@@vicanvas First off: The designs, Oh my god the designs are absolutely stunning! I love them, they are *cheff kiss*, I also love that the background is so completely different, Odysseus sees Penelope, he sees a beautiful area around them while it's not true. I love that it fits with the story behind a siren song, because not everyone is sure how it works. I like to think that like this, the victim is brought to an area that they know, with the person that they crave to see, and with the more that Odysseus is resisting and singing back, the more that facade slips, and that's so incredibly clever!! Then the expressions, especially 1:23, oh my god, 'Penelope' you are killing me. It makes you wonder if deep down she truly does feel bad, or if its just a facade. Either way, her friends have to eat so she can't stop now, no matter if she wants to. 1:54, her losing her patience, I can't imagine how annoyed she is that this guy is refusing to jump already. Losing that disguise slowly but surely, and lets not forget about the crew's reactions. Eurylochus looks so freaking done, oh my god LOL I am gonna leave this comment here because I don't want to write too much, which I already did. BUT OH MY GOD IM HYPED FOR DIFFERENT BEAST HEHEHEHE
I love your character designs and the fluidity of motion! The facial expressions are also killer! And the little water magic she did to show Scylla's lair! I love it
I'm so happy and impressed you noticed these details! "The lair of Scylla" moment shows 6 torches, as you said, plus 6 rock formations representing her heads leaning towards the torches
This is a really sick idea!! I love how you showcase what's happening in the background and also the illusion that the siren did at the beginning Like, it doesn't tell you right at the beginning that its a siren, and you portrayed that PERFECTLY And I freaking LOVED that underwater shot of the siren's tail, (1:30) it was so cool!!

I love how you show the fact that Ody was tied to the ship, like in the myth
why is this so underrated
that "penelope why" was amazing as expected
I am a simple woman. I see a new suffering animatic, i click. I see the hair tuck, i leave a like
2:04
Not the crew giving Ody the "is this guy for real" look!!
I LOVE YOUR VERSION OF "Penelope whyyyy"

Oh the nods to Scylla - the balls of light between the hands and the barrel of torches! And your Penelope is so beautiful
