I lived one year in Melbourne a great city, I loved great place to live! Know I'm planning to move to Vancouver, I never been there but a friend of mine that lived in both cities told me that Vancouver is similar to Melbourne just a bit colder in winter...There a some rankings that put both cities in the top 10 cities with better quality of life, so I consider my self lucky to have that kind of opportunities...I guess you and my friend are lucky too...Thanks for share your experience, nice video!

Excellent comparison, Sasha! I think tramways are the best mass transportation system. It rivals with monorails and underground trains. The best cities in the world are chosen every year based in a great extent due to this feature, besides other metrics of livability, which is why Melbourne is a few ones outside Europe that get into the list.

Good video and good on you for having a crack.
1st Melbourne has safe injecting rooms so you’re very very unlikely to see people shooting drugs in the streets in Melbourne just because there are places addicts can and should go that are kinda like Switzerland for them.
    2nd Melbourne beaches > Vancouver’s mountains.
3rd Melbourne does have great air which is largely due to our large tram network which Melbourians love to use, this is why you don’t see many cars in the CBD as well.
4th we are getting a train to the airport in Melbourne but because Melbourne is a much more established city you’re gonna need to wait until 2029 for it to be completed.

Can I ask you some weird questions ?
Are the hotels in Australia requiring a damage deposit like they do in Canada and 🇺🇸
Could it happen to encounter any wild animal in the city or if you’re camping ⛺️ or even seeing snakes and dangerous insects in your own apartment?
Are rentals cheaper in Melbourne than in Vancouver?
How similar is Australia to Canada
Is it easier to get a job there?
    Is Canada safer?thank you

    • @SashSays
      @SashSays  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey!
Yes i believe in Oz its also a damage deposit. For airbnb it definitely is.
You can defs see snakes and spiders in the bush while camping. A lot more rare in the suburbs. Melbourne is cooler than up north.. so even less likely!
Rentals are cheaper in Melb overall. But at the moment its tricky to find rentals like it is in Vancouver. You make more money in Australia so it doesnt feel as bad having a lot of money go on rent.
Hard to get jobs unless you are ok with any job.. hard to know what industry you are in! Australia is a safe country and so is Canada. The US borders canada which make me think that maybe canada is slightly more unsafe??
      Hope that helps 😊😊
