Thanks helped me get max ac back in my car, the original sensor was removed with the original bumper. So I ordered a replacement and install was a breeze , it was by the driver tire clicked it in and voila my max ac is back just in time for this California heat!
The 2014 320i has a nifty panel in the front left wheel well that lets you access the probe without having to go underneath and take off the splash guard
Hi guys... great videos... so I have a right hand drive 1series e82.... my ambient temperature sensor appears to be missing... I’ve purchased a new sensor but I’ve no idea where it plugs in.... do you guys or anyone else know where I should look for the loom or the plug which will run it to the computer?? Driving me crazy!!
BMW650I 2007 had to drive through flooding. The sensor affected the AC cooling. Also got PDC failure. I wasn’t sure the BMW650I will stand the flooding up to the front light. It was pretty BAD. That’s my first experience driving for the last 45 years and NEVER had to face. Luckily I got home after being stranded in the flooding for 4.5 hours. Usually in a normal weather it takes 7-10 minutes drive. Once home 🏠 called the garage mechanic and told him I have sign showing -40 degree and AC was not cooling plus the PDC sign. He called me back and said Re the AC and temperature showing in the dashboard it’s to do with the weather sensor, hence AC is not getting the right data. The mechanic visited me home 🏡 replaced the sensor with used working sensor for virtually FREE more or less. ONCE the plug and play sensor was replaced in 5 minutes. The AC started working normal, the PDC sign disappeared. The reason am sharing this feedback to educate drivers not to fall into garages trapping by telling them oh the compressor is gone etc. SO basically it was the weather temperature sensor was damaged as well as all the fiber safety guards all come down due to 4 hours the car 🚘 was in the flooding. SO I am having used fiber safety guard that comes under the car replacement with used parts. I personally prefer using used original BMW parts than copy one new.
Do you have info in bmw codes I'm having an issue and need help can u message me please and maybe this is a video u can make about this things of codes we need so we can fix our cars ourselves
Hi, Please the compressor and the auxiliary fan of my 2004 X5 go to ON with a 10 minute delay, I measure 11.8 volts at the contract of the auxiliary fan that as soon as the system starts, after 10 minutes, this voltage drops to about 3 volts, so to have cold air I have to wait 10 minutes from the first start, then the second takes a couple of minutes. Could it be that the outside temperature sensor is faulty? moreover, in the dashboard the temperature can be read but the light of the characters is dim.
Need your assistance, I got code P11c4, calls for "intake air humidity sensor" where is that sensor? I replaced MAF, Pressure sensor, also the Air flow sensor. Still can't figure this one, please help
I keep getting a light saying battery discharged while stopped battery low, mechanic said my alternator is good and I replaced my battery and if I let my car sit for a day it’ll be completely dead in the morning how can I fix this
@@MariusLuca89 yes mate. I changed sensor then I looked at the wire from the plug on the front of the car. I opened the tape and kept tracing the wires back there was a break in the wire. Also look at your cold air intake send it located in the plastic cover by windscreen wipers

@@XavierOrozcoMD Turns out mine was just hanging and touching the fucking floor! I do need to take it to the dealer though because a wire is snipped off from the sensor and the car still says the temperature is -40 outside.
I rebuilt.car engine after the timing chain went using another youtubers videos.. that sensor took me bloody ages to find where it went back.. like.. an hour and a half trying to work out where it went 😂😂😂😂

Hi My hybrid system on 330e is not switching and on dashboard the temperature showing is -40 degree upon checking the sensor the sensor is not there and completely cut off . Can you tell me if this sensor can cause the hybrid system not turning on ?

Can this cause a check engine light?
Yep and it will say -40°
Yes it can
Could this cause a parasitic draw killing a battery?
Will this work on a 2015 328i?
