every fandom needs someone who knows the lore like this... we don't even listen to SPG's music but it's hard not to get invested in the characters anyways, your videos about them are so well-made and you clearly put a lot of effort into them! /gen

So im writing a fallout based dnd game here and using the robots as a plot device and I may use some of these lore bits for them too. I have not read the comics or really anything aside from the music and a few of the videos. But this changes how I see some of the carictors.
…So Ollie and the Equinox Band could very well be Steam Powered Giraffe but from a different universe? I don’t see a reason to focus on a random band in “1896”; it makes more sense that SPG would have a connection to them. If they were featuring a human band, the slightly robotic delivery of the vocals in “Laying Down in Your Arms” wouldn’t be there. I think they’re SPG from an alternate universe.
