I have a Samsung S8 with the qualcomm processor in it. Looking for a way to root it is absolutely impossible here in the US. Maybe a dumb question on my part but should i part ways with this given it was made over 5 years ago? I like Samsung phones but dont know what phone i should be carrying everyday now. Dont need the latest and greatest. what would be your recommendation?@@KiLaT_KuNiNG

I strongly dislike these misleading titles in these noobs videos. It's not going to work on ANY Samsung device. You need to keep in mind compatibility, etc, etc. Clearly these people (that upload these videos) have no idea what the hell their doing and provide non-helpful information. Don't take this comment as an insult it's just a blunt and honest opinion.
Yep, you're correct he fails to mention anything about twrp, and all the essentials needed before, just go with what you know, this video only describes the latter half . I went with rdpower+ but it costs $
Here's a prime example of people that need to go do their research and go learn this stuff for themselves. Also, this won't work on your device anyways. It's for SAMSUNG.
@@Mobilenckreader ok then i got the bootloader unlock done, but when u reboot in recovery mode u use twrp, but when i tried to install it , everything was working fine, i got it to install, got to the part where i'm inside the interface of twrp, but then i can't exist it and boot normally back again, i'm in an infinite booting loop. and when i 'm inside the interface of twrp with the phone connected to the pc in can't acces my file on the phone from the pc to add file into my phone, that i could instal with twrp, but anyway even if i could add or install file when i 'm in twrp , i'd be stuck again in infinite boot loop once i exit it. i hope u could help me on that one. ( i can fix it by flashing with the stock firmware, the loop i mean) but then i don't have fwrp anymore and not sure if it's needed to follow the rest of the video for installing magisk.

When i try to flash using twrp it shows an encrypted folders in my internal storage. it doesnt show the magisk zip file. what should i do?
Move the zip file to another folder
