My biggest fear is that Vanessa will start to blame and resent Charity for distracting her from her job... leading to her suspension. I'm surprised Charity's contribution in all of this hasn't been mentioned thus far, at least not directly.

I also have a feeling that if Vanessa stays low and dejected about the suspension despite Charity’s attempts to cheer her up that Charity will break things off coz she doesn’t want to deal with the constant downer. Well they've done their best to show how much Charity cares for her and is willing to support her. She's said several times now she's not going any where. Which makes me think Vanessa will be the one to break things off first. Then, I hope we'll either see Charity find new ways to get her back, or she'll be faced with her rumoured revelation and she'll turn to Ness for emotional support, which she'll give, bringing them back together. Often the best way to get out of depression is to help others. I am anticipating many ups and downs for Vanity this year, but not a permanent split.
I am wondering if seeing Vanessa at her "worst" or at least her most trying period will make Charity realize just how much she cares for...and in reality loves...Vanessa. Vanessa said that she wouldn't be shocked if she lost Charity and Charity made it a point to say that she's not going anywhere even if the worst should happen. I think that Charity will say the words first and that they may accidentally slip out if/when her girlfriend is berating herself. For once, speaking first and thinking later would work to their benefit.
I'm wondering how long it will take out-of-work Vanessa to get on Pearl's last nerve. I suspect we will be seeing a new side to Ness in the coming months. Intrigued by what the writers have in mind with this new twist... and how it will impact her and Charity's relationship. Me thinks Charity will have her work cut out for her as "supportive girlfriend". Will she break from the strain? Will Vanessa find a new lease on life? Will she be in the right frame of mind to support Charity when it's her turn to face life's obstacles? Thus begins a new chapter in Vanity's story. Exciting! ... I hope.
samxart also curious about the dark secret Charity is going to reveal to Vanessa. Charity going through flashbacks because of Phils trial. I hope it brings them closer and not apart.
