I think the first time we saw Charity ever to be truly vulnerable and she can be with Vanessa as she knows she won't hurt her and is really there for her, without Vanessa, Charity wouldn't have had the courage to go through with getting Bails locked up. Vanessa believed her from the beginning, she had Charity's back when she wanted to drop the case. Charity doesn't have much believe in herself but Vanessa supported her every step of the way.
Vanessa was saying all the right things here. Too bad she got on her high horse by the end. Everything has changed now for Vanity. There's no going back to pure fun and frolic. Regardless of what Vanessa does after, Charity will be different with her now.
samxart you also have to see that when she got home and tracy said she had coffee with bails that could of been the last push. Also this could push things in the right direction and get things going. Only time will tell.
I understand why Vanessa is doing this. Bails is dangerous and needs to be stopped. But It's not her place to tell Charity's story, to anyone! Better course would have been to let things calm down, to process it all a bit, especially what all this means to Charity, and try to approach her the next day or so, make sure she's ok, start nudging her in the direction of going after Bails and why it's important etc. Sure it would take longer, and likely not work as Charity is stubborn and all, but it is Charity's story, Charity's decision. Vanessa's intention is good. She's a caregiver. It's her job to assess, diagnose, and treat. She's angry that her girlfriend was treated this way, that she is in such pain. She wants to help. She wants to fix it and make it well. This is especially true now that she's not able to be a vet at the moment. She needs to be needed. But this is the wrong way to help Charity.
Btw, I do understand, from a writing perspective why they are going this route, and yes it well may push things in the right direction eventually. I can see all this leading to Charity going after Bails etc, but things are going to get a lot worse between Charity and Vanessa before it gets better.

But is clearly AFRAID of that man! Vanessa reported it in her name but give Charity the CHOICE, when she didn't take she backed off. That's care.
