Such a beautiful way to acknowledge those who died while administering to the sick all those years ago.

Excellent presentation!! Dr. Grassett, Michael Power and all of the caregivers who gave so generously of their time, caring and lives should be commended.

So pleased to be here. I arrived in Toronto from Dublin in 1960 with my mum, dad, and three younger siblings.

A beautiful reflection of the past and acknowledgment of those early health care providers who supported those coming to Toronto.

So well done. Thank you. I was moved during the credits when you named the health care workers who died while caring for the ill patients. However I was disappointed that there was insufficient time to read all their names. If you can edit this slide for timing and let it play longer so our respects can be paid to all. Thank you.

Thanks Susan for watching the video. Yes, a good suggestion about having the names of those died remain on the screen longer. Alas, we're not able to change that on the video now, but their names are engraved on the benches in the park, and listed on our website: www.canadairelandfoundation.com/grasettpark/key_figures/
We also point out that these are the individuals we know about through historical research and records. It is possible there are others of whom we remain unaware.
