Having jet ski-ed the entire 90’s. Man it brings back some fantastic memories watching your videos… spent a lot of weekends in Parker and Blythe and a few trips to Havasu.. group of 6-7 buddies ripping our standup 650’s… I was the black sheep and had a X2.. it was a wee bit faster than everyone else… surprisingly it was still faster than a stock Kawasaki 750… but man did we have fun! Thanks for the sights and sounds of that time in my life… too bad no smell-a-vision…
Great video as always You should do a video on the proper way to roll a sit down ski back up right in the water after roll over. Very easy if done correctly I’ve had to help. Lot of people do this Keep up the great job
I really enjoy your videos Jimmy, especially the ones that the length stays in the teens or twenty'minute range. I found you on Merlin's Old School. Lovely wife, she adds beauty to the video.....my2cents
That does it! We did the whole River Run wrong! We are just going to have to go back and take a do over! I love the little etiquette jabs, they are so true!
This is great- while im new to PWCs, a lot of it is basic common sense, but I hate being that guy asking the dumb questions ...Thanks for the video~ I feel a lot more confident getting them into the water.. We all have to start somewhere.
These days, the most reliable source has been marketplace or Craigslist. The best way to buy a used ski is to ride it first. I know it is a big pain, but there are too many ways to get taken otherwise.
@@KrisD007 yeah it's stupid. All in the name of stopping the spread of invasive species that birds of all kinds have already spread to every body of water in mn
Might need to add, don't drink and drive also. I see so many people trying to get their skis and boats out of the water at the end of the day and they can't do it because they are impaired. There are actually videos from the boat ramps in Havasu.
Good to know the correct term 😅 sploosh out 😂😂 🎉🎉

The best internment is the launch ramp, if you know you've seen it. Good times
I like the hat lanyard trick. Might need to borrow that!
Just launch and go. My philosophy 😅
Wes wears many hats eh? 🤣🤣🤣
Jimmy said backing the trailer down is easy ........ lol thats the hard part for most ppl
Right?
If you are in suv open the back door (trunk) and just steer away it’s easy like that
We Want More Kris!!!!!!
Bless your heart! ❤❤❤❤

@@jetskijim007 my 550, x2 and ts650 all were failures, now im an expert at rebuilding them. My trust worthy 98 waverunner is always my backup
yes, you can't beat Yamaha reliability. :-)
I Minnesota we're not allowed to travel down the road with the plugs in the boat/ski
Really? Gotta love government.

Thanks for the lesson 😊

lol here I thought launching a jet ski was going to be vertical like the space shuttle
Hmmm. Future video?!
I'm not sure I understand why you don't use a shore line for launching and haul out as is used on boats??
no you didnt, her advise was not not needed, just saying
