Whoever can economically develop the Philippines is the one who deserves a spot in Filipino history! As a millennial I could care less about Ninoy Aquino (who cares about a dead man who stood up for something when the leaders under his banner left the Philippines largely undeveloped economically and still poor!! As a millennial born in 1986 I judge history harshly based on the leaders who surfaced under the EDSA banner but underperformed in developing the country economically. My generation can’t eat and live on values alone!! 🤮 RIP to the incompetent.
@@ERROLISMAEL one question to ask is did they really did nothing to develop the Philippines economically? With due fairness to the succeeding administrations past marcos sr they were limited resource wise because the philippines from cory's time had to pay the enormous debt incurred during Marcos Sr's tenure. During Mrs. Aquino's presidency more than half of the annual budget at that time were spent servicing those debts. Up to Noynoy's term the countries debt slowly decreased. There were even a time during his tenure that we were the ones lending 1 billion to IMF. So to say that post EDSA administrations did nothing or had underperformed to improve the economics of the philippines is a bit extreme. Although I admit problems still persists.

The person and party who can economically develop the Philippines will also change the conversation and write the history post EDSA and beyond! And I can’t wait to see who those deserving people are!
