Form change is a loooong process. There was a point a few months ago where I kinda felt like I was really nearing pro form, it looked fantastic... Fast forward to less form work, playing more, tags rounds, tourney rounds, rest.. I feel like I'm throwing well, but I've noticed a drift back to old form stuff that was 'comfy'.. A little bit at a time, over and over... It will be tough while competing but I hope you do well! Will be watching the journey.
Same, now I’m 10mph off my peak velo. If only progress was linear with how much work you put in.
got my first tourney this weekend too. stoked. added about 200 ft in the offseason. finally learned to putt. ready to crush.

Dude, I just want to let you know I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. I have gotten a lot of info from your videos, and I even catch you occasionally on Reddit. The whole idea of reselling and TH-cam marketing combined with disc golf tutorials/reviews/play throughs is just the thing I needed this year.
Also, the speed at which you go through things is pretty cool. I keep thinking, "man, he is talking a mile a minute." Then I realized that I also understood everything you said in that brief moment.

i think to get your hips to turn over you need to work on stand still drives thats helped me get the weight shift better
Just get out there, compete and have fun. Everything will come in time. You’re already pretty damn good

I've been playing for over 7 years and have gone through a few form changes. When I start to feel bogged down by it I just remind myself that a form change is a temporary inconvenience in order to attain a permanent improvement.

your head is also turning too fast pro tip let your left shoulder turn your head to see the disc not before but the follow through of left shoulder will push your chin to see the disc - Will Schusterick tip

By FAR your biggest problem is that you’re not low enough. And because of that you are not putting your lead leg in a position to safely receive any kind of rotational energy. Try explaining to a medical professional that you’re trying to put excess weight on a straight leg and rotate on top of it.

Had a brutal first tournament over the weekend. Hurt my back after the first hole in the 2nd round and wasn't sure how to go about whether awkwardly DNFing or sucking it up and keep playing. Decided not to say anything to my card mates and sucked it up which ofc lead to an offensively bad score.
Confidence isn't high right now, but still signing up for another tourney soon. Rolling with the punches.
Drive that left trailing arm and punch straight into the ground when pulling through. Imagine the start of your pull through starting from your left shoulder, punching it through allowing your throwing arm to lag and create the power as it's pulling through.
Tip for staying behind yourself?
Just because you want to become good at the sport it does not mean it's going to happen. Some people play their entire lives and never become good enough to play at an elite level.
Will be interesting to see what your distance looks like when you're back near sea level.

Since the season is starting I would recommend not working on your form and focus on during the offseason

For your brace issue look at Drew Gibson he makes a fist and kinda makes a punching motion to the ground basically forcing his off arm down and lifting his throwing arm up just something you can try works for me to get my shoulder angle better
