What Adidas did was to go back to the ghosted... But keep prime nit and change the area of the tongue where the ghosted would rub against your ankle... A very good incorporation

The. 1 version wins here for me. The colourway really isn't a good look for the portal perhaps. Adidas should remove the cushioning at the heel. Have in place an elastic fabric instead and this boot would be unbeatable.
This is the first time that a laceless version of a boot is better than the one with laces 😅,looks like laceless boots are getting better. Thanks for the honest and awesome review Jay and Unisport team♥️♥️

I want to ask unisport if you get lifetime contract from Nike or Adidas or Puma which one would you choose
Out of the legendary rivalry we can see that Puma is truly doing bits with the new ultra and future, Nike has been revolutionary with the new mercurial while Adidas fucked up the predator line and didn’t really improve anything on the speedportal (you’re better off buying a speedflow .1 on discount now it’s end of season). Looks like adidas admits they’ve run out of ideas and are just taking reckless gambles now.

Just got me a pair with laces… hopefully it’s like the ghosted x.1 cause that’s the last adidas cleat I wore and I loved it coming from a person who wears vapors too
I want to get them as well, what sizes you recommend. I wear a 43 or 27.5cm for the Vapors. I saw like 44 is 27.1, should I go for the bigger size anyways?
@@osric1205 just get the usual size you wear. very hard to get in when you first get them but after playing with them for awhile and breaking into them, they feel great.

So would it be better to spend the extra 50 dollars or so to get the Speedportal.1’s or would it be better to get the older Speedflow.1’s which are cheaper as they are on sale. I am a bit concerned about the durability of the Speedflow.1’s after reading a few reviews so I am kind of on the fence. If anyone can help/give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Honestly, i got the speedportals and in my opinion its a good boot itself but the durability is just absolutely terrible for both models (old and new) when i got them they didnt even last me a season, one time i was playing on a hot field and i got blisters and the boots LITERALLY RIPPED, so i threw tyem away and i got different boots that were wayyyy better, I recommend getting the adidas copa sense 3 , they ae a game changer, great protection, amazing grip and control, i also recommend getting the puma future z boots

@@j.r104 speedflow.3 were better than mercurial vapor academy in almost all aspects. So don't think x speed portal.3 would be worse

@insan4ikm it basically means how "sticky" it is more friction = more grip
Is this fg soleplate more suitable for articicial pitches? Studs looks like they wont stick in the ground as much
My guess is that you can use them on ag pitches with no worries. I have played over 15 years of football mainly on ag pitches with fg boots. Also many of my friends have always used fg boots and me or my friends no injuries ever. But yeah these kinds of studs are much better than studs/blades of nike mercurials. These studs are not so tall and sharp and their shape are better to ag pitch. Ofc fg boots used on ag pitches increase possibilities for injuries but those injuries are so marginal that worrying imo is a little bit unnecessary.
Also if you really know how to turn or land from the air and move you shouldn’t be worrying. (And if ag pitch is in a good shape, not a old shitty pitch). Now I have to put my fingers cross and hope that I don’t get injured on a next training session or a game. 😄 But yeah that’s my opinion. Everybody uses what they want even sg on ag pitches although that is fucking stupid😂
I have used first superfly models on ag pitches and many others. Only those first superfly models are no go nowadays. Those studs were so tall and only reason how I could use them somehow on ag pitch was that the pitch was brand new.

Unfortunately your opinion is based on a tiny and slim foot so maybe is not what a regular size foot might feel or did you take the opinion of a regular foot size let’s say a 8 1/2 UK size?
Would love to give these or the preds a try in the ag versions but why did they go away from the roundish studs for the ag variation it doesn’t seem to make sense? My speedflow ags are excellent on ag

These kind of look like a copa 20+ and a speedflow mixed together
The black version look ok but overall not a fan of the look of these. Not aggressive looking enough for a “speed” boot.
The Nike vapor 15 look a bit chunky too so adidas have missed a opportunity here.

Hey Jay. You said these felt longer than the speedflows. Watching your Speedflow review, you mentioned that went with UK 6 sizing, but with the Speedportals you are wearing UK 6.5. Isn't normal for the boots to feel longer when you went half a size up??
Actually, I've ended up wearing a UK6.5 in the Speedflow as well (a minor heel injury forced me to go for slightly more room) and that's what I've based it on. But fair question otherwise. /Jay
@@unisport You're the best, Jay. Then, I'll try to go down half a size as I usually have a tiny dead space in most of the Adidas boots. Hopefully, it will fit.
@@mehofourat9758 I’ve been using a size 8.5 in copa sense for a while but im actually a size 8 so I sized up in the cleat but in the speed portal review he said they fit a little longer. So if I’m a size 8 and used a 8.5 cleat before should I go with a size 8 or 8.5
