Lago di Garda | Lost Places 1: Ponale hotel & power station

A lost places hike along the old Ponale street from Riva del Garda up to the "Defensionsmauer" (470m, with several mystical bunkers on the way) and from there down to the Antica Via del Ponale. There you can find an old power station and if you follow the old pipe route you'll also find the very famous, abandoned Hotel Ponale, directly at the lake. From the hotel, I hiked to the Cafe Belvedere and back over the old Ponale street.

You can take a boat but they won’t stop for you to get out because it’s illegal to trespassing… I tried 🥺… maybe if you pay the boat people enough they might
