I’m amazed how you got over your fears with a arrow mine train I got over my fear with a revolution at magic mountain and incredicoaster those were my first inverting coasters
I LOVE THIS RIDE. one of my favs. cant say enough about it. perfect introductory ride for anyone looking to get over a fear or anyone looking to bring young children to. truly a coaster i never feared for my life on. 100000/10 would ride forever.
This train is faster than it looks, and is one of the best mine trains I have ever been on. For an even better experience, I suggest riding it at night (Moonlight Madness event preferred)!! You won't be disappointed.
Right there with you. When I was a kid, I loved the Mine Ride at Cedar Point. It's still there, too, 40-odd years later, a testament to its popularity. They're just so much _fun_ ...
This is probably just me, because I am not someone who would ride something like time traveler, or even Powder Keg, but this this is scary the first time you watch it because it goes a lot steeper than it shows it does. I just got off it and wanted to tell my opinion, so I know because I just rode it. This would probably be something simple for people who like things like Time Traveler, but for people who don’t like big roller coasters and like the simple ones, this would be something for you. It’s a little upped from the ride I ride at Magic Springs, called Big Bad John, but this thing is so fun. Just a little exclaimer, if you are like me, your throat will be sore at the end of this ride. :)
As someone who's been on this coaster, this pov does not give it justice, the speed and intensity is so much more, when you go around that spiral into the mineshaft it's really intense, and if you are ridding in the back you better hold on, it's rough as heck.
I remember riding that roller coaster when all the areas you see a new coaster was just greenery. I love the progress, but I might just miss that view.
I remember about three years ago my family went there, that was the most scary but fun thing I ever went on. My sister joked around and said it was "the whiplash machine".
This ride was so fun and if your overweight you will most likely fit! I was worried because I’m too big for most coasters and this one I had no problem with the lap bar. We rode it 3 times in a row and I felt like a kid again 🙂
This was my second, big rollercoaster I rode on. After the first time, I rode on it 3 more times in one day, and 2 more times the next day. I love this rollercoaster so much lol
I just rode it a few days ago right after it re-opened. I hadn’t rode it in almost 20 years. I didnt remember it being so rough. My son and I rode it back to back and after the second ride I got sicker than a dog. 😂 I was done thrill seeking for that day and went home a nursed my kidneys and neck back to health. Lol
Back in the day, they had a few cars turned around so you could ride this backwards. Sadly they don’t do that anymore..still my all time favorite roller coaster though.
This is an amazing coaster. Pulls some serious g's going into the shed at the :48 mark. The mid course lift hill kind of gives you a little needed break.
This is my entire family’s favorite ride. We ride it over and over and over! The part in the shed is a back breaker tho I must say😅 Lots of family memories on this ride
The layout is the opposite of the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. On this one you start out with a double helix, go into some other elements, then eventually a lift hill and end going through a shed with extra trains. In the Mine Ride, you start out going through the maintenance shed, then up a lift hill, some other elements, another lift hill then eventually end with a double helix. The only difference is the second lift hill and a few spans over water.
Quick tips for those new riders on this it has gotten super rough in recent years, super fun ride but it knocks and kicks a lot so be cautious when riding
This ride of so fun, me and my friend went on it 8 times in a row🤣🤣 and the workers were so chill and funny, they made jokes and everything was just so fun and exciting! Definitely would go again
While this mine train roller coaster is significantly more thrilling than the Runaway Mine Train at Six Flags Over Texas, if it weren't for the Runaway Mine Train, then Thunderation wouldn't exist. This is because the Runaway Mine Train is literally the first roller coaster of its kind!
I rode this last weekend and they only run one train at a time now. It had twice the wait time as Wildfire. I think one of the trains is broken. It has also gotten very rough. It gave me a headache like The Boss does in SF Saint Louis. The shaking was the worst in the double helix. Everyone pretty much said “ow” when we pulled back into the station.
Years and years ago every other coaster car was backwards. You could sit facing forwards or backwards. It was the best! I would ride it over and over as a kid
It’s a shame they removed so many trees around it to build time traveler. They could have built time traveler a little farther away and left a berm of trees. Zooming through the woods is part of the thrill of this coaster. Still a great ride.
The force on this ride is crazy In real lofe this coaster is ooo munch faster than the video and it will leave you bruises if you dont hold on to something
1:11 *when you thought this was a drop at 9 years old when this was your first roller coaster and you were screaming “DAD ITS A DROP IM SCARED OMG YOU DIDNT SAY THERE WAS A DROP”*
I was there in the 70’s and I remember a different mine train that ended with an effect of bright light and blaring train horn to scare you into thinking you were bound for a head on collision with a freight train, then the bottom dropped out with a steep descent. Anyone else remember that ride? (It really scared me as a 12 year old)
i rode this today... It was a lot of fun, but a little rough in the tunnel... I'm a little sore on my left side from it but I would ride it again anytime.
How fast does this ride go? I’m scared to go on rollercoasters and my friend and I made a deal if I go on this ride with her she’ll buy me anything in the park. The first ride she wanted me to go on with her was Fire In The Hole but when she showed me a video of the ride I saw they have strobe lights which is a trigger for my seizures so I can’t go on it.
For those wondering that building as soon as you leave the gates is the time Traveller this coaster goes a max of 48mph on the drop after the lift hill I recommend don’t sit on the side close to where you get on at because when you go through the tunnel @ 0:48 there is a turn it gave me very minor neck pain cause I wasn’t paying attention whereas on the other side you are already leaning outward so I stays the same But other than that one of the best rollercoasters ever in my opinion ( I don’t like roller coasters and said “I don’t like this and oh sh!t the entire duration of time traveler)
My first roller coaster, I was like 7. My dad had me ride with him, and when we got the front of the line i regretted my decision. But we’re going to Branson soon, and i’ll definitely make it priority to ride it. Edit: It’s jerky as heck. You gotta try and hold still or else you’ll get bruised 😭
Unfortunately I can't ride roller coasters anymore. I have AFib and the doc says no roller-coasters till we get it fixed. I will miss the sdc roller-coaster
Oh boy when i first went on this it was going higher and i freaked out on my poor mom saying i was never going to trust her again because i let my anxiety win
I have a question! My family and I are going here Memorial Day weekend, and they’re gonna make me ride a rollercoaster. I don’t like heights or fast things, or the drop in your stomach, but they’re gonna force me to ride at least one. Is this a good beginners one? If not do you have any recommendations?
@@Marshmello21Official I rode it, and I’m kinda embarrassed to say the first time I cried. My uncle said that it’s like a fast train, I just didn’t expect it to be that fast, and once I accidentally put my head down it was over for me and I couldn’t bring it back up into the ‘going up’ part. However at the end I started laughing, and I am now allowed to say I’ve conquered my first roller coaster, as I’ve rode it many times after that that day

Same thing… but not hooked yet

@@Werido_in_finsI’m scared of rollercoasters too
This was my first roller coster and I loved it!!

For an even better experience, I suggest riding it at night (Moonlight Madness event preferred)!! You won't be disappointed.
I rode it at night and it ligit looked like I was running into trees and stuff every 2 seconds because of the darkness 😆
Best mine train coaster out there, well themed and rides the landscape perfectly.
This ride goes 100% faster the more people are on it. Went on around halloween with full carts and holy shit this thing HAULS.
It’s scary fast around the loop with people
Physics my man, physics. They're cool. Haha
SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME
THANK YOU
I think its slow compared to time traveler and other coasters
Nice how the track passes through a lot of forested areas.
Rode this about 2 years ago. This and fiesta Texas mine train are by far the two best mine train coasters.
Colorado adventure*
I am guessing you haven't ridden Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Disney Parks yet?
I've ridden both BTMR. Thunderation is much better in my opinion
Mitchell Ries Big thunder mountain has nothing on this
big thunder is more themed but tame, thunderation beats this
My first ever roller coaster that I wasn’t pissing myself on. This one always will hold a special place in my heart.
Looks like a fun little ride. Something about the mine trains I like.
Right there with you. When I was a kid, I loved the Mine Ride at Cedar Point. It's still there, too, 40-odd years later, a testament to its popularity. They're just so much _fun_ ...
1. They bring you back to your childhood.
2. They're relaxing/a good ride after lunch
3. They still bring some decent thrills!
I personally love Arrow. I don’t mind the roughness on some of their rides, I love the vintage feel of some of them.
This is probably just me, because I am not someone who would ride something like time traveler, or even Powder Keg, but this this is scary the first time you watch it because it goes a lot steeper than it shows it does. My first roller coaster I rode at silver dollar city brings back many memories of getting the courage to go on this
Good ole thunderation, the one roller coaster my friends can get me to go on lol
favorite mine train! It is rough, but intense when it goes through that helix. Dont let the image of this ride fool you.
This ride is insane. It doesn’t stop picking up speed and rips through that helix. Honestly like it better than Wildfire.
Back in the day, they had a few cars turned around so you could ride this backwards. Sadly they don’t do that anymore..still my all time favorite roller coaster though.
I remember that, about 16-ish years ago when I was 10 I had a blast riding it backwards

Hmm do you think children can ride this one
@@1ksubswithnovideos365 I’m 13 and I rode it just fine, did have a couple of g’s at the spiral part that goes underground, however

my favorite out of the arrow mine trains
Why’s the video making it look slow-
This was my first ride at silver dollar city… and lemme tell you… it was INTENSE

This looks awesome! I've never seen a coaster that goes that long before its lift hill!
Look at powder keg also
When I first went on it I said "I'm never going on this again." But now it's a ride I have to go on everytime
Yeah

Shoutout to lift hills near the end of the ride. Gotta be one of my favorite genders.
So excited thunderation work is gose crazy what thunderation crazy roller coaster
My 1st coaster ever besides the little kiddie ones.
Made me legit cry watching. Brought back so many memories
This is the ride I always start with before riding wildfire and powder keg. So I can get ready lol.
I love this roller coaster so much
I love TNT! And SDC!

I went on this ride, it isn't as bad as other rides like powder keg and wildfire.
1:49 What an anti-climax.
I remember being on it and being disappointed by that where was no hill
I got actually scared when I saw it and then I saw what is actually was and I took a MASSIVE phew
Well at least they put a drop there, look any ninja at six flags magic mountain - THAT THING ENDS WITH A FRICKING LIFT HILL
Yeah I know
That's actually one of the tallest drops on an Arrow mine train
I love the ride but hate going through the tunnel it’s so rough and bumpy
It’s a shame they removed so many trees around it to build time traveler. They could have built time traveler a little farther away and left a berm of trees. Zooming through the woods is part of the thrill of this coaster. Still a great ride.
This is such a baby ride haha, my first one was the outlaw and i screamed so much my stomach hurt
My favorite ride at silver dollar city!
This is the best starter roller coaster. Wish this was my first one.
Absolutely insane coaster loved it 😍 ❤ ♥ 🙌 😀 😍 ❤
The force on this ride is crazy
In real lofe this coaster is ooo munch faster than the video and it will leave you bruises if you dont hold on to something
When you enter that first tunnel and you feel the speed and the G force, you realize why the ride is still going.

That ride is still there!! It's called fire in the hole!!
Loved it hat Fire in the Hole. Clever mix of coaster trick and dark ride theatrics!
Fire in the hole is pretty good but I have to say one time I went on it and it stopped right before the 1st drop and I actually had a relief moment
thank you for bringing back traumatizing memories
One of my favorite rides! I marathon this ride bc I like it sooo much!
I hope we'll be getting a Time Traveler POV soon as well.
Favorite ride no matter what
Even just watching it on a large screen, it seems to feel trembling throughout the body.
i rode this today... It was a lot of fun, but a little rough in the tunnel... I'm a little sore on my left side from it but I would ride it again anytime.
I give this a two thumps up
This is the most intense mine train I’ve been on
i went here last week and went on this ride 23 times in a row lol
If you went when it wasn't busy and sat in the very back you could ride it over and over again without getting out, so much fun, back car is best car.
Weird mine train coaster has only one lift and a slight finale, where was the worker stuck in the head?
That didn't look to bad, just alot of curves basically & 1 uphill, no problem 😊😊
