1. Brother Sahil is not against the Maulvis/Ulemas.
He is against the typical wrong mentality and wrong behaviour/teachings of the majority Pakistani parents and Pakistani Maulvis/Ulemas. And he wants to them to correct themselves.
Proper Shariah can come only when our poeple start READING the QURAN (it's meaning not and not just Arabic) themselves and Hadith as well. Then raise questions with their scholars without the wrong traching of being quiet out of respect. Ulemas can be wrong/hypocrites as well.
The Ulemas/Maulvis are om the RIGHT path to teach HAQ without fear. If they themselves jave wrong concepts then they cannot bring much good.
2. Knowledge and experience has nothing to do with age. It has everything to do learning or doing the right thing.
Someone can spend their whole life preaching wrong and they will still be wrong 😊
If you think intellect/knowledge comes with age then the Clerks/Chaprassi should be officers. The Sipoy should be a General etc.
This is exactly what the problem is. The Ulemas/Maulvis, for a long time have been preaching wrongly and have been thinking of themselves to be more knowledgable and unchallengable/unquestionable by common people just because of having a degree or title. 😊 Ego.
3. When we walk in the path of ALLAH (on HAQ) then we have to not care about anyone (even our own parents/relatives) if they are wrong or ignorant or hypocrites. We have to correct them.
Staying quiet against wrong, due to respect/fear is hypocrisy/munafiqat.
Custom/traditions do NOT take precedence over of HAQ.
We are servants of ALLAH. We are commanded by ALLAH to fear only him and to do what is right (by hand or by tongue or by heart).
If you want quotes from Quran and Hadith, let me know,but I am sure you are more knowledgable than me so I wohld not even need to quote In sha ALLAH.
E.g.
Surah Tauba verse 23 and 24.
4. When someone walks in the path of ALLAH or works for ALLAH (e.g. Qari, Maulvi, Ulema etc) then financial difficulties is/should NOT be their worries. And just because of difficulties, they are not allowed to twist Islam or run away from HAQ. It is their responsibility to do what is right in the way of ALLAH.
So there is no excuse.
Again, Quran and Hadith expplains this. (E.g. Hadith Qudsi about Martyt, Quran reciter and Rich charitable person dragged to hell)

5. Inner enemies/corrupt/ignorant/hyprocrites are more important to be corrected/dealt with then outer enemies (Islam Mukhalif) 😊
6. Brother Sahil is trying to correct the mindset of younger generation mainly. Because he knows that the older generation's mindset if almost impossible to change now because the wrong base is stemmed into thejr roots by now. It is very difficult to change habits and accept new things after middle age. That is why we should focus on correcting our children in the right time.
All he is trying to do is to tell youngster to start READING, learning and reasoning. And this is HAQ.
I can understand that you mean to maintain peace between everyone.
However, when it comes down to HAQ, be vary of which side you are on and do not care about customs/traditions etc. We will have to answer for it in the grave and on the day of Judgement In sha ALLAH.
In the path of HAQ, respect is for ALLAH only. Everything else is just responsilities and they should not interfere with the respect and love for ALLAH.
