    Sir there is confusion when you said about time constant and displacement constant But how??
    When we take constant time then there will be x also constant then how you showed x constant and t constant analysis

      note if we take time constant, then the sinusoidal graph will show their displacement about their mean position , but when their position vector ( x ) is constant, the graph will show their variation in their amplitudes w.r.t to time

    sir why does a transverse wave not help in transferring energy in water
    and even if it does can you please clear my doubt

      notice, transverse waves travel perpendicular to the direction of the wave so they are not responsible much for energy transfer

    Hello sir, could you please clear my doubt : you said that angular velocity in one cycle is phase change but earlier we studied that angular velocity multiplied by time is phase change . So what is the actual thing.

    pranam sir, progressive wave ke equation ka proof jo SL arora me diya gaya hai usko DAV gevra(korba) , ke teacher ne galat kah diya, he said only Pradeep publication ki book me jo proof diya hai sir wahi sahi hai... plz sir rply kijiyega ki kya SL Arora me jo proof hai wo wrong /incomplete /inappropriate hai?

    sir, I think that the equation { y=a sin(kx-wt)} of wave that you wrote should have started from origin and gone in the -ve x quadrant , not in positive . The wave, that you drawn should have the phase {(wt-kx)} .If not , sir please explain .

      guys , the disturbance is carried through electric and magnetic fields oscillating perpendicular to the direction of wave, in this way the receiver absorbs energy in form of disturbed electric and magnetic fields, try to imagine how one electron transfer its energy to another electron by oscillating E.M fields
