Love this type of lesson in blues classics keep them coming as many as possible…also would love to learn blues slide in this genre of 🎶 music.. thanks 🙏
fabulous lesson!!!! its these little licks and blues songs that some of us can not or don't have the patience to figure out. Why not get spoon fed. Thanks
Hey thanks for the upload. I've been looking at lessons on TH-cam all day and everyone's playing it differently. the way you play it sounds the most authentic though
Howling Wolf's original version starts with the G on the one in the bar. Most people who covered the song play it like you do, but check out the original.
Another problem I have with this dude is he rarely answeres any questions anyone has with his lessons.....another reason i left his website...great player but ignorant! ..... so what key is this in Brian?
you're calling someone who gave you a free lesson ignorant?! he said which key it was despite it being painfully obvious. maybe you should listen and not project so much.
Love the blues keep these old classics coming for lessons exactly what I want to learn with guitar…thanks so much🎸🎶
Great lesson, thanks!
You say this is simple, but I think it's a GREAT exercise to get your hands working with your brain. May use this to warm up from now on!

Yay! Covers!! Please do Spoonful Cream Wheels of Fire version 🙏🏼
Nice lesson. I like how you indicate where the bass note is played in relationship to the slide on the G string, and the other riff notes.
Thanks for this. Been trying to learn this riff and your video is the only one that makes it clear where the bass notes should come in. 🙏
Thanks for sharing this!!

I've watched other guitar teachers do this song but they don't come anywhere close to you for smoothness Brian....sounds great.
A great lesson! Thank You, Brian!
Pretty cool video 😎
This is cool lesson. Thanks.
Thanks Brian. A good one might be the rhythm parts from Hideaway.

that's standard tuning right ?
yup
Sounds like CCR used this rif in Susie Q.
Similar, same key, but they used the riff from Susie Q by Dale Hawkins!
Awesome!! What type of guitar is that?
+StreetFightingMan1967 Looks like a Telecaster. ;o)
I think it's a Telecaster, but I think a Les Paul would be slightly better for this type of music :)
+Megashark I'm my opinion I'd say it's got that perfect twang for its age, maybe a 335?
+Chris Gibbons (a telecaster that is)
Fender Telecaster
What type of guitar is that?

It's in E 9:40. Stop complaining.

4 minutes of dribble before you even start!
