These kids get my blood pumping, knowing that brilliant creativity and massive skills are still married in the 21st Century. They push the boundaries in the best possible way.
Just because you can doesnt mean you should // is always the feeling I get when trying to get into this music. Theres usually no hooks are a part where the song comes back around.. kinda like it wanders and goes no where. Sometimes staying in place for a groove would help? Like theres no complete phrases or musical thoughts.. im probably way off but I want to understand the draw of this group.
While there are some things that are kind of accurate with what you have described, I do think that you are mostly wrong. The music is not only just pleasant to listen to, but domis chords and phrasings are very emotive and take you on a rollercoaster. Being incapable of hearing emotion from just instruments means that instrumental music probably isn’t for you. I always feel like this criticism that super complex instrumental jazz doesn’t have any “emotion” is stated way too muchto the point where it’s just become more of a buzzword than an actual opinion. Doesn’t help that the criticism just doesn’t have much weight to it.
@@Foeisudhxj well i guess the emotion i get from it is frantic because it never seems to settle into a feel or whatever to give you a traditional feeling of tension and resoloution that music can offer. . I struggle with it myself, i have about 100 instrumental tracks ive made from scatch uploaded to my channel if you want to try and critique my stuff with honesty its always appreciated .. love it, hate it, or dont even listen to it, ive experienced it all before - and just looking like everybody else to feel something. much love.
