Travel day is always so exciting! “First of its kind art exhibit in an aviation space” reminds me of all the new roller coasters that break records like “longest indoor straddle coaster in the northeast” where the records all have to be carefully qualified 😂 Tragically, as we’re almost always flying Southwest to Florida when we’re not driving, we’ll probably never get to see the inside of terminal C with our own eyes- so we love being able to live vicariously through you! So sorry about your “window seat” on JetBlue 😅 but how cool that you got to see the Northern Lights so clearly and vividly from your seat on the plane! First a total eclipse in the South, and now the Northern Lights from the north. Your timing is impeccable! Such a great travel vlog, glad you made it safely. We’re a bit behind but so excited to watch the rest of your trip vlogs! ✨
Loved this vlog! Must have been amazing to see the northern lights up there! Incredible. Can't wait to see what you guys get up to while you're here 👍🏼
Finally got a chance to watch the video. I hope your property made it safe through the hurricane. I live in the panhandle about 40 miles NW of Destin. We didn't get any of the bad weather. Just a little wind. Glad ya'll made it safely and glad you got to see the Northern lights. I want to see them one day myself. Be safe, have fun, and enjoy yourselves and family. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. Thank you so much for your hard work and for sharing with all of us.❤
Yay! I know I'm late to watch your England videos. Better late than never. 😅 I'm glad the lady behind you was nice, and you could see the Northern lights. (I kept thinking you were walking around in your socks 😂)
yay well I'm just glad you're here. And no way would I take my shoes off on an airplane hahah!! Maybe if I was in one of those special seats you can sleep in or something like that, but not in normal seat. But yea seeing the Northern Lights was such a highlight, the moment felt like a dream!
@@SuperEnthused Yes! It was amazing here in the UK and it really brought people together which was fabulous. You had the better view though - talk about a ring side seat!
We got to see the Northern Lights in 2016 on our Alaskan cruise. They were out for 3 nights in a row and we watched them 2 of the nights. One of the most fantastic parts of the trip.
Thanks for all your tips and tricks for Dollywood pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I just got to go to all those places the first time and loved it and your videos really helped a lot.
Oh, that's so exciting you saw the Northern Lights. I've been fortunate enough to see them three times, last one this past spring. Hope you are having a wonderful time and look forward to all you can show us. Omg thank you so much for sharing your journey on the airplane and airport. I worked for United Airlines for almost 17 years and really miss seeing the airplanes take off and land etc. I really miss the airline business. My favorite part of being on a plane was take off. To me with the landing we had the best pilots so I never worried about turbulence etc. What type of plane did you guys fly on to London because that plane did look small for going that distance. I can't wait to see what you and Sam did ❤❤ ❤❤
Wow! Wow! What an exciting trip. So glad you got to see the northern lights. We finally did here in western NY. Thanks for taking us along for all of the excitement. ❤❤🎉🎉 - western NY Aimee
Im sure the pilot was probably nonchalant about the northern lights because he has probably seen themany times before . Im in NC and still have yet to see them so im sure it would be really amazing for me to see them. Very cool!
Hope your UK trip is going well! Great to see your Jet Blue experience. It looked really good - did you notice it was a smaller plane? They are one of the airlines starting to use narrow body planes on transatlantic routes as the new generation planes have a much bigger range now. If you were to go for a direct flight next time, you’d probably be on a traditional wide body plane like a 777 or Airbus A330 or A350. If you found it a little crampt, maybe go for a direct flight next time? It’s great to have you here and hope you and Sam have a wonderful time!
yes, I didn't love how small the planes were tbh, but in general I was really happy with most of the JetBlue experience and I'd fly them again for sure. Air travel just isn't comfortable nowadays and airlines don't seem to care about making it comfortable, which stinks, but in general, this is one of the better ones I've flown in the past few years. We usually always fly direct, this was a rare case where the timing and everything worked out so that this was the best option for this trip. I would much rather do direct though always.
@@SuperEnthused I hear you - flying isn’t as glamorous as it used to be is it (just look at the seats now - could they make them any thinner? 🙈😂). The onboard food is definitely not what it used to be either! Good to hear JetBlue was good though! That plane is actually a really good one - I think people are just querying whether a smaller cabin is good for longer trips but they can do clever things with design now to still make it comfortable.
Glad you explained about using the window of the row behind you. I was confused about how you went from "No window" at 16:45 to an outside view at 17:00 because usually, when an opening to the outside of the plane suddenly appears, it's cause for concern. 😂 I'm flying out of JFK in a few days, but I'm heading West to L.A..

We had a great shot of the northern lights here in New England too! It was magical! Ours were hot pink to orange! Can’t wait to see your UK adventures!
Man , too bad the camera wouldn't act right for the northern lights. I've made the flight umpteen times overnight to UK over the years and never seen that. Maybe one day.
16:45 Yeah, that seat Stinks! 😢 I would be having claustrophobic issues I think. 18:38 It’s good you can see out there, but it’s also giving me William Shatner in the “Twilight Zone” Vibes with the lights! 😮😂
17:05…Oh Yeah…it will sometimes take AN HOUR plus between pushing back from the gate at JFK to ACTUALLY GETTING IN THE AIR! That’s because a flight technically leaves “on time” once it’s pushed back from the gate, and, thus, won’t be charged a higher departure fee from the Port Authority (which runs JFK airport as well as the other NYC airports)…even if the plane can’t get takeoff clearance for an hour plus…
Amazing Video, glad to have you both here in Blighty again. Can wait to see your Alton Towers vid. We heading to Orlando on Tues. Can i ask what the somg is when you take off from JFK?
