Thanks to some friends I actually took the time to take that silly test. I came out Gryffindor, which was a bit disappointing bc I look better in Slytherin colors. 😉 But my patronus was a horse, so that was cool.

Ha, as someone who tested as INFJ ages ago, I felt pretty special and unique when the results told me it was the rarest type, but in basically every conversation where personality types came up someone else would inevitably say "Oh my gosh, I'm an INFJ too!" or "My other friend is an INFJ, that's so crazy!", so I might have to question just how much of a "unicorn" this type actually is 😂
my personal guess is that the type of people who take these tests and care about this are more likely to be them

it's all about the sample group size. 3% of 3million is still a substantial number, so keep in mind that rare doesn't mean scarce
The problem is the online quiz (this is not the real MBTI test) massively overselects for introverted intuitives.

There is little to no scientific evidence to support it, and none to base employment or work decisions.
It can be gamed.
It should be banned in all venues but ASMR.
I don't know about you, but it helped me find my true self. I'm INTJ according to MBTI. I don't know, but the description is 99,95% accurate, say whatever you want. And it makes sense, at least to me. At least now I know my strong and weak sides, what to avoid in life and what to focus on. It wasn't easy to live in society all these years without knowing what is going on. So, you can think whatever you want about MBTI, but it's a pretty good system to determine personality.

lol I used to be very into MBTI stuff as well and I made my whole family take the test. turns out me and both of my parents were typed as INFJs. Not only were there 3 of us in the same town, there were 3 of us in the same house, so i'm not actually sure that INFJs are the rarest type. anyway, great video as always, mira!!

I tested ISTP once in high school (after my second time taking the test, because the first time it was LITERALLY INCONCLUSIVE AND MADE ME TAKE IT AGAIN???). A few years later I tested INTP in college and just now at 28 tested INFJ. I honestly can't remember the descriptions for ISTP/INTP anymore but reading the INFJ description gave me chills because the last few days I have been asking people close to me if they feel like they have a specific reason for being alive, because I've always known I do and it only just occurred to me that maybe not everyone has that sense...and then this quiz goes and tells me INFJs apparently often experience this powerfully and it makes them feel like they're different from the people around them. Literally what 😭

Great portrayal of every A type personality friend I've ever had that I had to tell several times that I didn't want to be friends anymore and finally ghost to get out of my life. Loved the periodic "Crazy Eyes" you threw in there as well. I'm INTJ/INTP/ENTP, I've received different results at different points in my life. I find the MBTI kinda useless, since everyone can be any type at any time depending on their exigent circumstances. You do think up some random things to make ASMR about and that's what makes you so excellent at it. Have a great day :)

My MBTI phase was in middle school, and while I still stand by my results (it'd been consistent for around 5 years than I stopped checking, especially after working backwards and typing myself manually) I haven't thought about it in a while XD

I have taken these personality tests so many times over the years. I am tired of these kinds of surveys. 😂 I do remember that I am an INFJ, though.
This gave me flashbacks to when I "administered" the MBTI to a new friend in my university's library. So I was literally this person - but more awkward, and not endearing, and with far less elegant hair.
I tested INFJ first time I took the test, but then looked into the cognitive functions and turns out I’m INFP 😂 a much more accurate fit for myself

I feel like almost everyone gets INFJ despite it supposedly being rare. I think it's a lot of selection bias though given people who spend more time online will be more introverted, and NFs will tend to be more interested in taking these kinds of tests. So you get a ton of INFJ and INFP in the sample of people sharing their results online.
