Bendy and the Ink Machine had few jumpscares. The whole game revolved around world building and storytelling, the horror aspects were similar to Outlast and Bioshock, where it centers around running away from a threat rather than facing it. Just because it's mascot horror doesn't mean it relies on jumpscares or is a rip off of FNAF.
Thats sad, imagine having to be the original inspiration for cartoons without being acknowleged by most people.

Pete debuted in a 1922 Disney series entitled “Alice’s Wonderland” (not to be confused with 1951’s Alice _IN_ wonderland) which had another very obscure, unknown character called “Julius the Cat”, and was 5 years before Oswald’s first appearance in 1927. So you were to a degree right in thinking that Pete was Disney’s first character, in that he’s the most well known character that appeared before Oswald and Mickey did.
Edit: Also Epic Mickey along with Kingdom Hearts and other Disney video games rock. Disney in general with regards to video games is underrated IMHO

When I first saw Cuphead, my first thought was how eyes design looked like Felix's. Despite how little presence Felix had in my life, I never forget him as I've replayed an NES game based on Felix a lot, which was based on late 50's cartoon which I actually watched as a kid in 90's, even though I almost don't remember it as of now.
