installing the custom jamma adapter to the alpha 3d Max game board.

So I'm changing a pandora ex arcade box to (hopefully) a 3d games plus board. My power connector is a white connector. Can I just use a conventional plug for the power and leave that connector on the jamma disconnected? (Ideally unplugged psu)
