Very nice tutorial, but what should we do if there is a linux kernel update? do we need rebuilt the nvidia driver in every linux kernel update?. And how to upgrade to newest version nvidia driver using this proprietary driver like in this video?
Thank you! DKMS (Dynamic Kernel Module Support) take care of kernel updates, it build modules automatically when you update kernel. Some cases, when you see major kernel update, like 6.5 -> 6.6 or 6.5 -> 7.0, DKMS might fail, but this is normally possible to fix updating NVIDIA drivers. PLEASE make a tutorial on how to do this with secure boot enabled. I have tried literally everything but nothing seems to work. Is it a fedora problem? (apparently reading around online this seems to be a popular opinion when it comes to fedora and nvidia drivers) Or is it a me problem? I must admit I'm somewhat of a beginner user. Regardless I'd really need some help.
Not bad idea at all. One and only reason why I run my systems always secure boot disabled is simply that, it's totally useless for me. I think it should work normally, but you just need to sign your modules.
